Location

The hotel, privately owned since 1998 and a member of "The Leading Hotels of the World," offers views of Teide and the ocean. It is located in the "La Paz" villa district of Puerto de la Cruz, in close proximity to the Botanical Garden. From the hotel, guests enjoy magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean with its picturesque coastlines, the Orotava Valley, and Mount Teide.
The Hotel Botánico is surrounded by 25,000 m² of beautiful parkland.
The center of Puerto de la Cruz and the beach are just a few minutes from the hotel, with a complimentary shuttle service provided.
The renowned Loro Parque, home to the world's largest parrot collection and a penguinarium, is owned by the same proprietor as the hotel, is quickly accessible, and its visit is a must for any tourist itinerary.

The hotel will be partially renovated in 2025 and features 212 comfortable Deluxe rooms and suites. The buildings are divided into a family area and an adults-only area; all hotel services are available to guests in both buildings equally. The spacious lobby connects to the breakfast area with beautiful garden views and a terrace, and houses a permanent exhibition of paintings by Canarian artists, boutiques, a reading corner with a library, and a billiards room. In the middle of the subtropical garden complex, there is 1 heated freshwater pool with loungers, umbrellas, and cushions, and a separate children's pool. Integrated directly into the hotel's garden landscape is the 18-hole putting green on an area of 5,000 m², complete with a bunker and driving range (for a fee). In addition to the pool bar/snack restaurant "Palmera Real," there are 4 à la carte restaurants to choose from: "The Oriental" with Asian cuisine, "Il Pappagallo" with Italian/Mediterranean cuisine, "La Parrilla" with Spanish cuisine, and "Brunelli's Steakhouse" in Puerto de la Cruz. Guests with half board receive a credit of €25 per person at Brunelli's, and the transfer there is provided by the hotel.
The hotel also offers professional facilities for events and incentives.

Deluxe Double Room

The comfortably and elegantly furnished double rooms (approx. 30m²) are equipped with two beds or a double bed, a furnished balcony, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and telephone (for a fee), individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), Smart TV, remote control, digital safe (free of charge), elegant bathroom with separate shower and bathtub with bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer. Superior Double Room - Adults Only

Bookable for ages 16 and up.
The approximately 45m² renovated rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel and feature a king-size or 2 twin beds (customer request), a sofa bed, 49'' Smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a dressing room connected to the bathroom, as well as a balcony.
The rooms can be booked with Teide view (DTU) or sea view (DMU).
From 01.04.26, rooms with Teide view are also available as type B, bookable with half board only (B2T), or with sea view (UMB).
Also available for single occupancy (E1T/DME).

Ambassador Junior Suite

Same amenities as the Deluxe Double Room Spa View.
With approximately 47m², they are particularly spacious and elegantly furnished, featuring a larger bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, a trouser press, a dressing room, a cozy seating area, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
They also have a furnished balcony with a view of the spa or garden (AJ2).

Bookable for ages 16 and up.
These rooms are approximately 45m² and located on the 5th floor of the hotel.
They feature a luxurious bedroom with a seating and work area, and a private terrace (approx. 16m²) with a hammock, perfect for relaxation. Additionally, they include a Nespresso capsule machine (daily refill), a bathroom with a whirlpool, daily access to the spa's thermal circuit, a safe, air conditioning, bathrobe, slippers, and two 55" Smart TVs (P2).

Penthouse Suite - Adults Only

Bookable for ages 16 and up.
Equipped like the Penthouse Double Rooms, but with a living room and a separate bedroom. The rooms are approximately 83m² and feature a private terrace (approx. 68m²).
Additionally, they include a luxurious wooden dressing room. The large bathroom is made of Italian marble (PHS).

Senator Suite - Adults Only

Bookable for ages 16 and up.
These rooms are approximately 68m² and feature oriental influences.
They include a separate living and sleeping area, divided by a door. With a furnished balcony or terrace, Nespresso capsule machine (daily refill), pillow selection, 24-hour room service (for a fee), two 55" Smart TVs, a safe, and daily access to the spa's thermal circuit.
