The hotel is located on the idyllic sandy beach of Playacar, south of Playa del Carmen and approximately 50 minutes from Cancun Airport.

The hotel complex comprises 350 rooms and, due to its proximity to Playa del Carmen, serves as an ideal base for exploring the country and its people. Additionally, you can utilize the amenities of the neighboring hotel Tucan. Enjoy the culinary diversity of 5 specialty restaurants, as well as four inviting bars. The expansive hotel complex features a large pool area, a pool bar (Adults Only), and a restaurant in the pool area. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the pool and beach, free of charge. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and is included.

Premium Room

The double rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two double beds and feature air conditioning, safe, Wi-Fi (included), flat-screen TV, telephone, bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace (PR1/PR2/PPR). Double rooms near the pool are also available at a surcharge (NPS). Also bookable as Premium Tropical View (PTZ).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites are slightly more spacious, can only be booked with a king-size bed, and offer the same amenities as the double rooms (JS2/KJ1). Oceanfront Junior Suites are also available at a surcharge (2JO).

Family Room

The family rooms consist of two double rooms with a connecting door and have the same amenities as the double rooms. One room has a king-size bed and the other has two double beds (DF2/KD2/KD3).

Premium Near Beach

These rooms have been renovated and are located near the beach and pool (BPN).

Junior Suite Ocean Front Beach Access

The suites have the same amenities as the other suites but are just a few steps from the beach (JFF).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two double beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If booked for 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax has been implemented and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 USD per person, regardless of the planned length of stay in the country.

No smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transportation, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, a greater amount of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
