Location

The Ocean Maya Royale is located on Playa Punta Bete, a fine sandy natural beach with pleasantly temperate sea. The transfer time to Cancun Airport is approx. 45 minutes.

This generously designed complex consists of a 3-story main building and several two-story buildings, surrounded by well-kept gardens between the imposing reception building and the large freshwater pool landscape. Sun loungers and towels by the pool, as well as additional sun towels on the beach, are included. The restaurant and 4 specialty restaurants (Mexican, Oriental, Italian, and International), snack bar, Mike's Coffee Bar (5 PM - 11 PM), and 3 bars cater to your culinary needs. Shops for daily necessities, a lounge area with daybeds on the beach, and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel are free of charge. A professional team of entertainers ensures fun and entertainment in the hotel, on the beach, and in the theater with evening shows.

Maya Deluxe Room

The Deluxe rooms are equipped with a king-size or two queen-size beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, LCD satellite TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks, water, and beer), coffee machine, direct dial telephone, Wi-Fi (incl.), alarm clock, safe, air conditioning, and a furnished balcony.

Privilege Junior Suite

The Privilege Junior Suites are renovated and additionally feature a seating area with sofa and armchairs, as well as Privilege amenities: Privilege Concierge, premium drinks in the minibar, preferred reservations in à la carte restaurants, welcome gift, 24-hour room service, access to the Privilege Lounge (library, snacks, and premium drinks), private beach section with Balinese beds.

Extra Privilege Service

Exclusive evening excursion from 6 PM to 1 AM, including food, drinks, and entertainment at another Ocean Hotel. Transfer must be arranged by the guest. (The Privilege Concierge must be notified by guests 24 hours in advance of the excursion).

Romantic Suite (CUNA95 from Winter 25)

The high-quality and spacious Romantic Suites feature a comfortable king-size bed, garden view, safe, and minibar (free of charge), pillow selection, seating area, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi (free of charge), jacuzzi, and a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, toilet, and bathrobe/slippers. Guests of the Romantic Suite also enjoy the amenities of the Privilege Service, such as access to the Privilege Lounge and terrace, Nespresso coffee machine, and breakfast and dinner in the à la carte restaurant (approx. 43 sqm, SR2).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy with 1-2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight background noise.
