The hotel is located directly on the beautiful white sandy beach of Playa Paraiso, between Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. Cancun Airport is approximately 30 minutes away.

The spacious and extensive complex with 446 rooms is part of a complex with the hotels Iberostar Paraiso del Mar, Iberostar Paraiso Maya, and Iberostar Paraiso Beach. Guests can enjoy the comfort and facilities of all complexes. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant, 5 à la carte restaurants (subject to availability: American Grill, Lemon&Spice, Greek, Mediterranean, Italian, and Steakhouse), and 6 bars. The sprawling, beautifully landscaped gardens feature a fantastic pool area with a wave pool, activity pool, quiet pool, children's water park with slides (from 1.20m height), and sun terraces. The complex also offers an ice cream parlor, crêperie, gym, spa, hairdresser, shopping arcade, and two discotheques (adult and teenager discos). Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the lobby.

The beautiful rooms feature a bathroom with shower or bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, WI-FI (free password per person upon arrival), ceiling fan, cable TV, telephone/alarm clock, minibar (incl.), safe (incl.), coffee maker, iron/ironing board, and a balcony or terrace with tropical view (BPN/BPE). The rooms are slightly more spacious and also offer a small seating area (JNP).

PURE WELLNESS is designed to provide guests with a better night's sleep. In addition to the usual cleaning protocol, PURE rooms undergo an additional seven-step process using advanced technology to capture and eliminate viruses, bacteria, and airborne particles, while minimizing the presence of potential irritants. This process includes the installation of a state-of-the-art air purification system and the treatment of all guest room linens and surfaces. The technology is certified to eliminate the COVID-19 virus. All PURE rooms are installed and maintained by PURE Wellness.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). When occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Features the Winnow system for reducing food waste, 3R equipment for waste management in the hotels, and installed drinking water fountains.
We have two coral nurseries in front of the complex where we work with our scientific team to restore coral reefs.
Together with the community where the Paraíso complex is located, we monitor the hotel beaches for turtle nests, which are then relocated to camps set up for this activity.
We maintain mangrove areas in our Paraíso complex, which help protect our coasts and hotels from storms and hurricanes.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
