For stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often observed in larger quantities in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
