Location

The hotel is situated in a quiet, protected, fine sandy beach cove, near the mouth of the river "Rio Soco", close to the town of San Pedro de Macoris, between La Romana and Juan Dolio. Transfer time from/to Punta Cana Airport is approx. 90 minutes.

The small, exclusive tropical complex, adults-only, features 414 modern junior suites, 2 main restaurants, and 3 à la carte restaurants. Almost all restaurants are fully air-conditioned and non-smoking, with one restaurant being open-air. Other amenities include 6 bars, a snack bar, disco, shops, two large pool areas with swim-up bar, a spa area, and a fitness room. Facilities of the sister hotel Bahia Principe Grand La Romana (excluding buffet restaurants) can also be used.

Junior Suite Deluxe

The tastefully furnished Junior Suites Superior feature a bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub and shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, flat-screen TV, telephone, bathrobe and slippers, pillow menu, 24-hour room service, safe (included), minibar (water, soft drinks, and beer, refilled daily), an integrated living area with a sofa bed, and a balcony or terrace. Private check-in and check-out are available subject to availability (J2D/J1D). Pool view (J2P/J1P) and oceanfront (JDM) are bookable at an additional charge.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may be present due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
