The modern and elegantly furnished hotel is located directly on the beautiful sandy beach in Juan Dolio, about 40 minutes from the city of Santo Domingo. Las Américas Airport is about 20 minutes away, and Punta Cana Airport is about 90 minutes away.

Deluxe Double Room

The modern double rooms are well-suited for families and overlook the hotel's tropical garden. They are equipped with 2 queen-size beds, shower/WC with 2 sinks, satellite TV, hairdryer, minibar, safe (rental fee), telephone, air conditioning, and coffee maker (DD2/DD1).

Superior Double Room

Same amenities as the double rooms, with a balcony, but slightly smaller and with only one sink (DSU/DEU).

Club Essentia Garden

Features garden view and a free safe. Towels for the exclusive pool area for Essentia guests are also provided. It also includes a private check-in lounge, room service, premium beverages, and a 30-minute massage, access to the Essentia Lounge, and a Santo Domingo Colonial City Tour (minimum 4-day stay) (C2E/C1E). Also bookable as Ocean View (COZ).

Adults Only Double Room

These rooms, with otherwise identical amenities to the double rooms, are located in the adults-only area with an exclusive jacuzzi and pool. Additionally, the minibar is replenished daily. For stays of 4 days or more, guests receive a 15-minute massage (SAO).

Swim Out

With the same amenities, featuring a private outdoor terrace and direct pool access (2SO).

Essentia Swim Out

With the same amenities, these rooms are located near the beach and offer access to the swimming pool. In addition to the amenities, a tour of the colonial city of Santo Domingo is included (E2S).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40m x 2m). For a booking of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean is often observed during this period. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
