Location

The adults-only hotel Secrets La Romana is located directly on the beach on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe is about a 10-minute walk away. Punta Cana Airport is approximately a 40-minute drive away.

This luxury resort, designed in a typical Caribbean style, comprises a total of 356 rooms set amidst extensive tropical gardens lined with palm trees. Amenities include an open-plan lobby with a reception, a souvenir shop, and various other shops. Dining options consist of five restaurants, including a beachside grill and a poolside pizzeria. The luxurious hotel also features five bars, four pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. The stunning outdoor area boasts a spacious pool landscape with two pools, a swim-up bar, and a sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas.

Deluxe Garden View

The luxuriously appointed rooms, decorated in a modern style, feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, flatscreen cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board, safe, minibar (daily refill with water, soft drinks, juices, and beer), and a furnished balcony or terrace (2OA).

Premium Garden View

In addition to the standard amenities, Premium rooms offer extra comforts such as a welcome gift, a pillow menu, and an evening turndown service (GVZ).

Preferred Club Ocean View

These rooms offer the same amenities as the Premium rooms, plus ocean views and the following additional features: dedicated concierge service for check-in and check-out, an expanded minibar selection and room service menu, a beach bag, bathrobes, and slippers. Guests also have complimentary access to the Preferred Club Lounge and an exclusive restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Additionally, Preferred Club guests can enjoy a hydrotherapy pool and an exclusive beach section (NW2). Preferred Club Suite Garden View

These suites offer the same amenities as the Preferred Club Ocean View rooms but are more spacious, featuring a king-size bed, a separate living room, a hydro-massage bathtub, and a private terrace/balcony (N2U).

Preferred Club Swim Out Garden View

These rooms have the same amenities as the Preferred Club Garden View rooms and offer direct access to a pool (NR2).

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. This is particularly noticeable with an increase in brown algae in the Caribbean, which can affect the beach and sea. Hotel management and local authorities are working to clean affected beach areas in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this may involve the use of equipment that generates some noise.
