The holiday resort of the Viva hotel chain is located on the northeast coast in Las Terrenas-Samana. Las Terrenas is approximately 5 km away. Santo Domingo Airport is about a 120-minute drive away.

The rooms have a king-size bed, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower and toilet, cable TV, espresso machine, minibar, telephone, hairdryer, safe (incl.), iron, ironing board, free Wi-Fi, and a terrace. Additionally, the rooms offer access to a private plunge pool. Also bookable for single occupancy.

Bungalow

The bungalows, with the same amenities as the Double Room Type A "Vibe", have 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds and additionally offer a rain shower in the bathroom, an upgraded minibar, turn-down service, and 24-hour room service. They are located in an exclusive jungle area and also have a private plunge pool. Guests also receive a $15 credit for the spa center.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of special equipment, which can cause some noise.
