Location

The rural hotel El Refugio is located at an altitude of 1560 m, about 35 km from Las Palmas city, in the place of the same name, Cruz de Tejeda, which is also almost the geographical center of the island. It is an ideal starting point for numerous hiking tours in the mountainous region of Gran Canaria.

Facilities

Built in 1990 and renovated in 2003, the country house has a total of 10 rooms spread over 2 floors, including 9 double rooms and 1 suite. Facilities include a 24-hour reception with a safe, a bar, a lounge with a fireplace and TV corner, a billiards table and darts, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, and a public internet terminal. Furthermore, laundry service and parking are available. The hotel also features a 6,000 m² garden. In the outdoor area, you will find a freshwater pool with sun loungers, umbrellas, and outdoor showers.
