Location

The hotel complex is located directly on the beach with the promenade of the resort Torrox-Costa. The town center, with its many leisure activities and restaurants, supermarkets, etc., is about 100 m away. Malaga Airport is approximately 64 km away. A bus stop is located about 900 m away (multiple daily bus connections to Nerja and Malaga).

The Iberostar Malaga Playa, with a total of 319 rooms and 94 apartments, impresses with its beautiful Moorish-style architecture. It features a main building with 6 elevators and 2 four-story annex buildings with apartments and 4 elevators. The complex includes a reception with a lobby bar, a buffet restaurant, a snack bar, a lounge bar with a terrace, and a pool bar (seasonally open). The approximately 11,000 m² garden area offers direct access to the promenade. The garden area features 1 swimming pool and a separate children's pool, a pool bar (seasonally open), and a sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool. Additionally, the hotel offers the "AQUAFUN" splash pool with slides for children up to 1.50 m in height.

Double Room

The double rooms are approximately 31 m² and feature a bath/toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV with music channel, telephone, rental safe (for a fee), minibar (for a fee), and air conditioning/heating (centrally controlled), as well as a balcony or terrace (D/DA).
Also available as Double Room with Garden View (2GD/DGI), Double Room with Partial Sea View (DMS/AMS), or Direct Sea View (DM) at an additional charge.
Also bookable for single occupancy (DE/DEA), single occupancy with garden view (1GD/DGE), and single occupancy with partial sea view (DES/EIA).

Apartment

The apartments (approx. 40 m²) have the same amenities as the double rooms and additionally feature a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed and kitchenette, separated from the bedroom by a door (A12/A1A). The apartments are also available with 2 bedrooms (A2U/R2A, approx. 48 m²).

Sea View Suite

The sea view suites (from approx. 45 m²) offer more space than the double rooms with the same amenities and feature a living/sleeping area as well as a separate bedroom. The 3rd person sleeps on a sofa bed (S2M).

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites Sea View are somewhat more spacious than the double rooms with the same amenities and offer a sea view (J2M).

Deluxe Double Room Sea View Upper Floors

Schauinsland-Reisen Original: The Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View Upper Floors have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Sea View and are located on the upper 3 floors (4th-6th floor). Additionally, guests receive a welcome gift and a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival (DM2).

Deluxe Family Apartment

Schauinsland-Reisen Original: The Deluxe Family Apartments have the same amenities as the one-bedroom apartments and are perfect for families due to additional amenities. Additional amenities include a family welcome gift, kettle, bathrobes, and slippers for adults (2AF).

Junior Suite (AGPA02)

These Junior Suites are approximately 40 m² and offer a living area with seating, a sofa bed, telephone, air conditioning, bath/WC, minibar (for a fee), safe (for a fee), hairdryer, TV, and a balcony or terrace (JS2).

All meals are served buffet-style with Iberostar Chef Show Cooking concept (Breakfast 7:30-10:30, Lunch 13:30-15:30, Dinner 18:30-21:30, in summer from 19:00-22:00).
