The hotel, built in Andalusian style, is located directly on the dune beach of "Playa la Barrosa", adjacent to the 36-hole golf course. A small shopping center with restaurants and bars is located nearby. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The distance to Jerez de la Frontera Airport is approx. 62 km and to Seville Airport it is approx. 145 km.

The exclusive 5-star hotel with a total of 274 rooms spoils its guests with every imaginable comfort. Facilities include several elevators, a reception hall with a reception desk, premium Wi-Fi (included throughout the hotel), the buffet restaurant "La Barrosa" (with Iberostar chef show cooking and a new "Market Style" concept), the à la carte restaurants "Cataria" (for a fee) and "La Bodega", a lobby bar, and a souvenir shop. In the attractive garden area, next to the swimming pool, there is a large sun terrace with loungers, umbrellas, Seasoul by Cataria on the beach (for a fee and open only in summer), and a pool bar.

Double rooms with side sea view (DMS, AMS) can be booked for an additional charge.
Double rooms with side sea view, private terrace, and pool access (DA) are equipped like the double rooms, with an additional private terrace and direct access to the main pool, at ground level.

Double Room Side Sea View Deluxe

schauinsland-reisen-Original: The double rooms with side sea view Deluxe, approx. 43 sqm (DPM), have the same amenities as the double rooms with side sea view, plus the following: welcome gift, 1 entry per person/week to the spa (also for children) and early check-in/late check-out (subject to availability).

Double Room Sea Facing (DM)

The double rooms sea facing (DM, DY2, MDA) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but can be located on the first to third floor. The sea is visible from the room, but the view is not directly facing the front sea.

Double Room Sharing Pool

The double rooms sharing pool (SH2, SH3) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located on the ground floor with direct access to the pool, which is only available to guests in this room category. (Minimum age for children is 6 years).
Please note that your booked room has direct access to the shared pool and there is no lifeguard on duty. If booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for supervision.

Double Room Sea View Priority Location

The double rooms sea view priority location (2PY) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but have a preferred location (1st or 2nd floor) and offer sea views as well as a balcony/terrace.

Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the junior suites (JS2, J2A) are slightly more spacious, located on the 2nd floor, and additionally feature a living area with a sofa bed and a seating area, a bathroom with a shower and hydromassage bathtub, a coffee machine, and a separate bedroom. Junior suites located on the 3rd floor with sea views can be booked for an additional charge (J2M, JMA).

Suite Sea View Beachfront

The suites consist of a spacious separate bedroom with a king-size bed, a living area with a sofa, and a balcony or terrace with loungers. They have a bathroom with hydromassage and shower/WC, a safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee machine, and telephone. The suites have a frontal sea view (partially restricted sea view) and are located directly on the beach. They are situated on the ground floor, first or second floor (F2W/BFA).

Suite Superior Beachfront

The suites consist of two spacious separate bedrooms with a king-size bed, a living area with a sofa, and a balcony or terrace with loungers. They feature two bathrooms (1 with Jacuzzi & 1 with hydromassage) and a shower/WC, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee machine, and telephone. The suites have a frontal sea view (partially restricted sea view) and are located directly on the beach. They are situated on the ground floor, first or second floor (UM2).

Single Room

The single rooms are double rooms for single use (DE/DEB).
Double rooms with side sea view for single use can be booked for an additional charge (DES/EIA).

Double Room Sea View (XRYA01)

With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms sea facing, these offer sea views (DM/DEM/DMI/EIM).
