The Hotel Fuerte El Rompido is quietly located amidst the Rio Piedras Natural Park. The approximately 12 km long, untouched and natural beach "Playa Flecha del Rompido" can be reached by shuttle boat (1 free round trip per person/day included in high season, subject to availability, across the lagoon-like river mouth; the jetty is approx. 5 minutes' walk away, departure every 30 minutes). Spectacular views in a natural landscape and golf opportunities are available near the fishing village of El Rompido, which is approx. 1 km away. The nearest bus and train station is approx. 23 km away (Huelva). Faro Airport is approx. 130 km away. Jerez Airport is about 212 km away. Seville Airport can be reached after approx. 133 km.

The 4-star hotel, built in Andalusian style by the Fuerte Group hotel chain, has a total of 299 rooms on 6 floors. Facilities include a brightly designed reception area with a 24-hour reception and seating areas, 6 elevators, a lounge with an internet corner (for a fee), 4 event/conference rooms, a TV room, a souvenir shop, a boutique, a hairdresser, the "El Olivo" restaurant, the "Dosfaros" restaurant (seasonally open daily from mid-June to mid-September from 11 am to 7 pm; times may change), the "Noble" bar with an outdoor terrace. In the well-maintained outdoor area with a garden, there are two swimming pools with sun terraces. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for hotel guests in the pool area (for a fee on the beach, offered by local providers).

The comfortably and attractively furnished double rooms are approx. 28 m² in size and have a bath/WC with a hairdryer and free toiletries, a double bed (2 x 2 m) or two single beds (each 1 x 2 m), air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV (flat-screen TV), Wi-Fi (included), minibar (for a fee), safe (for a fee), pillow menu, furnished balcony or terrace (D).

Breakfast / Half Board

Breakfast from 8 am to 11 am (7:30 am to 10:30 am in winter) buffet style. With half board, dinner is also available from 8 pm to 11 pm (7:30 pm to 10:30 pm in winter) buffet style. Meals are served in the "El Olivo" restaurant. (Times are subject to change)
