Location

The Adults-Only Hotel (18+ years) Allegro Madeira, part of the Barcelo Hotel chain, is just a few meters from the narrow stone beach 'Praia do Gorgulho' and the Lido area with its promenade, several restaurants, bars, and shops. You can reach the center of Funchal in about a 30-minute walk along the main road, or regularly by local bus (a bus stop is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel). Madeira Airport (Funchal) is approximately 21 km away.

The modern and stylish 4-star hotel belonging to the Barcelo Hotel Group features a total of 124 rooms decorated in a designer style. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour front desk, 'Lido' restaurant (varied cuisine, with regional and international dishes), '360° Grad Rooftop' bar (bar on the rooftop terrace with exceptional panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean), 'Lounge' bar, an outdoor area with a sun terrace, and a swimming pool. Double Room

The Double Rooms are approximately 20 m² in size, located on the lower floors (1st-4th floor) and feature a fully equipped bathroom with a shower, toilet, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries, a double bed (Queen size) or two single beds (Twin), a desk, chair, air conditioning/heating, safe (included), telephone, cable TV, minibar (for a fee), electric kettle, wake-up service (on request), Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished balcony facing the land side (D). Also bookable as a Single Use Double Room (DE). Double rooms with side sea view (DMS) or sea view (DM) are also available at an additional charge.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites are equipped like the Double Rooms, but are slightly larger (approx. 38 m²), located on the 2nd-3rd floor facing the land side. They additionally feature a seating area and a sofa (JS2). Junior Suites with sea view are available at an additional charge (J2M).

Panorama Junior Suite Sea View

The Panorama Junior Suites Sea View have the same amenities as the Junior Suite Sea View but are located on the upper floors (7th-11th floor) with panoramic sea views and offer additional amenities such as bathrobes, slippers, free access to the sauna (in the Wellness & Spa area), small welcome amenities (in the room), and a coffee machine (JPM).

Breakfast served in winter from 7:30 AM to 10 AM and in summer from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Half board includes dinner in buffet style, served in winter from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM and in summer from 7 PM to 10 PM.
