The 5-star boutique hotel Quinta da Casa Branca is surrounded by lush gardens, located about 2 km from the center of Funchal and about 500m from the Lido. A public bus stop is about 50m away.

The modern and unique architecture of the new building has been harmoniously integrated into the existing garden complex with a typical Madeiran manor house. In 1999, the Quinta received the Funchal Architecture Award. Following expansion work in 2002, the hotel was the only one on Madeira to be admitted to the exclusive group of "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". The Quinta features a modern room wing (hotel building) with 43 rooms (29 garden-view double rooms, 12 premium double rooms, 2 suites), located in a two-story, fully glazed, low-rise building, and the newly renovated manor house, which houses the 5 Manor House suites and 1 separate villa. The complex facilities include a reception area, Wi-Fi (included), the "Garden Pavilion" restaurant, where breakfast is served buffet-style, the Casa da Quinta, serving lunch from 12 PM to 3 PM, dinner from 6:30 PM to 10 PM, snacks from 11 AM to 10 PM, and drinks and cocktails from 11 AM to 11 PM, the "The Dining Room" restaurant (in the manor house, upscale dining concept), where dinner can be enjoyed for a fee from Tuesday to Saturday from 7 PM to 9:30 PM, a small library in a large, cozy lounge, and various seating areas in the main building and the manor house. The subtropical gardens feature a heated freshwater swimming pool and a sun terrace, as well as another "Adults Only Pool" with a lawn by the manor house (sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are included in both areas).

Garden-view double room

The garden-view double rooms are approximately 37 sqm and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, twin beds, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished terrace (DG).
Also available as a garden-view double room for single use (DEG).

Premium double room

The premium double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 55 sqm, including balcony/terrace), with a bathtub and a walk-in shower, and generally feature a queen-size bed (1.60m wide) and additionally a separate dressing area with a large wardrobe and a furnished balcony or terrace (PR2).
Also available as a premium double room for single use (PR1).

Manor House Suite

The suites in the manor house are individually furnished, approx. 86 sqm (including balcony/terrace) and feature marble bathrooms with a bathtub and shower cubicle/WC, scale, twin beds, telephone, minibar, safe (no charge), air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, turn-down service, Nespresso coffee machine, tea/coffee maker, and a separate living room. All suites have a balcony or terrace with sun loungers and chairs (2MH).

Deluxe Suite

The deluxe suites are approx. 110 sqm (including balcony), located in the hotel building, and feature a bedroom with a king-size bed (2m x 2m), a large marble bathroom with double vanity, a whirlpool bathtub, a separate walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, scale, bathrobes, slippers, and turn-down service, a separate living room, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe (no charge), air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), and a Nespresso coffee machine. All suites have a furnished balcony with sun loungers and chairs (S2D).

Meals

B&B/Half Board

Breakfast buffet at the Garden Pavilion from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Dinner is served as a set menu at the "Casa da Quinta" restaurant from 6:30 PM to 10 PM - table d'hôte (3-course menu, starter, main course with choice of fish or meat, vegetarian options available on request) and dessert, or à la carte (for half-board guests, a credit will be applied to the final bill).
"The Dining Room" restaurant from Tuesday to Saturday from 7 PM to 9:30 PM: The restaurant currently offers two tasting menus, one with 6 and one with 9 courses (for half-board guests, a credit will be applied to the final bill). Dress code is smart casual (no sneakers, no t-shirts, no shorts). Fixed time slots for dinner can be reserved upon check-in to ensure the highest level of service.

The hotel offers a 30% discount on green fees (1x 18 holes per day) at Santo da Serra Golf Course and a 25% discount at Palheiro Golf Course (booking at the hotel reception).

Wellness

The "Frangipani Spa" wellness area offers a sauna, whirlpool, steam bath, and separate male and female changing rooms free of charge. Beauty treatments and massages are available for a fee (reservations/appointments required). Access to the Health Club & Spa area is for guests aged 16 and over.
