The Familotel Landgut Furtherwirt is located in a quiet and idyllic setting, far from the hustle and bustle, yet easily accessible. The hotel is situated in a valley basin, nestled between Kirchdorf and St. Johann, and offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Kitzbühel Alps. A visual and sound barrier separates the hotel from the road, ensuring absolute peace and relaxation. The idyllic surroundings at an altitude of approximately 687m invite you to enjoy relaxing walks and hikes. The center of Kirchdorf and the St. Johann train station are only about 2 km away and therefore easily reachable. Salzburg International Airport is approx. 60 km away, allowing for quick travel from all over the world. This quiet yet well-connected location is the perfect starting point for a varied holiday, whether in summer or winter.
Especially in winter:
Start your cross-country skiing tour directly outside the hotel. Nordic winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to over 700 km of free cross-country trails in the Kitzbühel Alps (excluding Pillerseetal). The Furtherwirt offers a ski service for all guests. The hotel guest card offers great mobility as the bus ticket is included and connects to 8 different ski resorts: St. Johann, Oberndorf, Kirchdorf, Erpfendorf, Kitzbühel, Going, Ellmau, and Waidring. Every Friday and Saturday, a mobile ski rental service comes to the hotel, offering you the opportunity to rent and return ski equipment for your children on-site. The nearest lift is approx. 2 km away.

Facilities

The Familotel Landgut Furtherwirt consists of several interconnected buildings and offers comprehensive facilities for a thoroughly enjoyable family vacation. The hotel features 1 restaurant and 1 bar, providing culinary delights and cozy evenings. For further relaxation, a lounge is available, while the café offers an ideal spot to unwind. The spacious garden area with a sunbathing lawn invites you to relax in nature. For the younger guests, there is a children's pool, a playground, and a playroom, ensuring plenty of fun and variety. Additionally, free childcare and free children's entertainment are offered, allowing parents to enjoy some time to themselves. For active guests, there are numerous leisure activities, including a bicycle storage room (free of charge) and bicycle rental options. The hotel also provides free parking, while a garage can be used for a fee. Pets are also welcome for a fee. The elevator and reception add to the convenience, as does the free use of sun loungers and umbrellas on the terrace.

The family rooms in the Wiesenhof (DF2, approx. 28m²) offer a balcony or terrace. The room features a double bed and up to two extra beds, and is equipped with a seating area, room safe, cable TV, telephone, and Wi-Fi. The bathrooms have either a shower or a bathtub with a hairdryer.

Family Suite

The spacious and newly renovated family suite (2FS, approx. 50m²) features a living-sleeping area and a separate bedroom. The suite offers 2 bathrooms and a balcony or roof terrace with a view of the quiet courtyard or the farm. It has a connecting door between the two rooms, Wi-Fi, cable TV, room safe, and a telephone. The children's room is equipped with a bunk bed.

Family Apartment

This apartment (APF, approx. 60m²) offers a spacious layout with a living-sleeping area and a separate bedroom. There is one bathroom (two are possible upon request and subject to availability) as well as a balcony or terrace with a view of the meadows or the quiet courtyard. The room is equipped with a seating area, a room safe, Wi-Fi, cable TV, telephone, and a hairdryer. It has a connecting door between the rooms.

Single with Child Room

This cozy room is perfect for solo travelers with a child. It features a double room with an additional bed for the child, as well as a terrace or balcony. The room offers Wi-Fi, cable TV, telephone, room safe, and a hairdryer.

BIO Family Suite

This BIO Suite (ASF, approx. 70m²) is equipped with solid wood flooring and consists of a living-sleeping area for parents (partially separated by a visual room divider) and a children's room. The suite offers a modern bathroom with shower/WC and a balcony or terrace with a view of the farm or courtyard, as well as Wi-Fi, cable TV, a sofa, music system, hairdryer, room safe, and telephone.

* Breakfast (8 AM - 10 AM): Freshly baked goods with various savory and sweet spreads, ham, cold cuts, and cheese, as well as freshly cooked or fried eggs. More than 15 different juices are available, along with a large selection of cereals. Milk and eggs are from our own organic farm.
* Lunch (12 PM - 1 PM): Buffet, light lunch with soups and salads
* Afternoon snack with cake or Tyrolean snack with coffee/tea
* Dinner (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM): Buffet, cold and warm dinner buffet with various themes.
