Location

The Berghotel Holzer in the Kitzbühel Alps is situated in a wonderfully beautiful location at an altitude of 1,274 m, on the Pass Thurn, the border between the Salzburg region and Tyrol. The famous town of Kitzbühel is about 15 km away, and the tranquil village of Mittersill is only about 10 km away. Zell am See and Kaprun with its glacier ski area "Kitzsteinhorn" are approximately 35 km away. A special destination is also Austria's longest toboggan run, located in Bramberg, which is about 23 km away. The Resterhöhe cable car is about 400 m from the hotel.

Facilities

The Berghotel Holzer has a total of 35 units and offers a cozy lobby with a reception, a hunting lounge (Jagastube), a rustic parlor (Stüberl), and a dining room with a restaurant area where you can enjoy traditional delicacies. The hotel also features a cozy Swiss stone pine parlor (Zirbenstüberl) and a sociable hotel bar. The wine cellar on the premises perfectly complements the offerings. In winter, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room with a ski boot dryer is available for your winter sports equipment. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
