Location

Centrally located in the beautiful old town of Zell am See, the modern Hotel Neue Post is connected to the pedestrian zone, making it close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel is an ideal base for combining city and nature; the breathtaking mountain scenery and crystal-clear lake invite you to enjoy numerous activities such as hiking or cycling. The Zell am See lido is also just about 600 m away, and alternatively, the Ebenberg lift is approximately a 5-minute walk away. It is connected to Zell am See train station (approx. 200 m).

Hotel Neue Post is centrally located in the old town of Zell am See, just a 5-minute walk from the Ebenberg lift and the CityXpress cable car, which leads directly to the Schmittenhöhe ski area.
The Zell am See-Schmittenhöhe ski area offers around 77 kilometers of pistes of all difficulty levels. The highest elevation is at 1,965 m. There are 28 lift facilities, including gondola lifts, chairlifts, and drag lifts. The ski area is known for its panoramic descents with views of Lake Zell. Furthermore, the Ski Alpin Card provides access to a total of 408 kilometers of pistes in the Schmittenhöhe, Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn, and Kitzsteinhorn-Kaprun ski areas. In addition to the groomed pistes, there are freeride routes and a funslope, depending on snow conditions.

The hosts of Hotel Neue Post combine traditional hospitality with a fresh vibe, emphasizing a mix of relaxation and party, urban flair and nature, as well as culinary delights and art. The hotel was newly renovated in 2024 and features stylish rooms and apartments, as well as a wide range of dining options with a trendy restaurant, a cozy lobby bar, and an inviting café. For maximum relaxation, there is an 800 m² wellness area with a sauna, steam bath, and fitness room, as well as a garden with a sun terrace and an outdoor pool/whirlpool. Wi-Fi is available free of charge at all times to stay connected.

Double Room "Cosy Terra"

These cozy rooms in earthy tones feature a box-spring bed, satellite TV, central heating, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, toilet, hairdryer, and bathrobe (approx. 18m², D).

These rooms with many wooden details are slightly more spacious and additionally have a balcony and a safe (approx. 25m², DB).

Double Room "Green Forest"

These stylish rooms without a balcony can accommodate 2-3 people; the box-spring bed can also be separated here (approx. 26m², DA).

These bright and generously sized rooms are suitable for families, featuring a balcony or terrace, a seating area, a music system, and a wonderful view from the first or second floor (approx. 35m², DC). Optionally, also bookable for 2 adults + 2 children (DI).

The apartment without a balcony is also equipped with a kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave, gas/electric stove, refrigerator, and a seating area, offering more space than the double rooms (approx. 50m², AP).
