Location

The Romantikhotel Zell am See is located in the idyllic village of Zell am See, at the foot of the majestic Kitzsteinhorn and just a few steps from the clear, sparkling Zeller See lake. The town center is only about 100m away.
In winter, Zell am See offers first-class opportunities for skiing and snowboarding on the surrounding slopes of Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn. Direct access to the region's best ski areas is available from the hotel, allowing you to enjoy the diverse winter mountain landscape. The Cityexpress gondola, the entry point to the Schmittenhöhe hiking area, is only about 500m from the hotel.
In summer, the surrounding area entices with numerous hiking and cycling trails, as well as water sports opportunities on Lake Zell. Whether you discover the lake by stand-up paddleboarding or a leisurely boat trip, or conquer the mountains on foot or by mountain bike – every nature lover will find something to enjoy here.

Facilities

The family-run Romantikhotel combines tradition and romance under one roof. The total of 45 themed rooms offer an ideal retreat. The cuisine is characterized by regionality and organic quality, offering a selection of traditional and international dishes. In addition to the reception area, the hotel features a cozy bar, an open fireplace, two restaurants, a lounge, an elevator, a terrace, and a garden area.

Double Room Starlet

The cozy double rooms (D, approx. 18 sqm) are equipped with a shower/WC, bathrobe, telephone, hairdryer, safe, seating area, cable TV, and central heating.

Double Room Romance

With otherwise similar amenities to the Starlet rooms, these offer more space at approx. 22 sqm (DA).

Double Room Cuddle

Also similarly equipped to the Starlet rooms, these offer 22 sqm of space and a balcony (DB). (From Summer 26, the room will be called "Double Room Romance Type A with balcony or French balcony").

Garden Suite

Suite in the country house in the rose garden, connected underground to the main building, with a visually separated living and sleeping area, shower/WC, hairdryer, tea station, cable TV, telephone, room safe, bathrobes, and balcony (S2).

The fee will be charged parallel to the local tax per night and will go towards the expansion of transport.
