Location

Spend a unique holiday in Saalbach. The non-smoking Hotel Austria (approx. 1,000 m above sea level) is located about 1.5 km from the center. Cafes and restaurants are about 500 m away, and the nearest shops are approximately 400 m from your holiday accommodation. Winter sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth: The entrance to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski area is only about 1 km away and easily accessible. The well-developed ski bus network allows for stress-free travel to the lifts. Winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails right outside your doorstep invite you to relax or engage in sporting activities, while the snowy landscape provides a very special atmosphere. The region also has a lot to offer away from the slopes. Zell am See, about 20 km away, tempts with a public indoor pool for weather-independent swimming fun.

The friendly 4-star Hotel Austria offers a total of 54 accommodation units (newly renovated rooms), a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, and an outdoor indoor pool. Your accommodation consists of the "Hotel Austria Saalbach" (main building) and the adjacent "Villa Austria Saalbach" which is located right next to the hotel (approx. 10m away). Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the breakfast room (newly renovated) and the restaurant. You can end an eventful day of vacation in good company at the hotel bar "Montana Club" or at the public bar "Apres Ski Kellerbar", about 1 km from the hotel. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area.
NOTE: All services are provided in the main building. From Winter 2026, "Villa Austria Saalbach" will be bookable under SZGB22.

The comfortable rooms (Z2D, 30 m²) have cable TV with integrated radio, shower, toilet, and hairdryer, and some have a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a double sofa bed.

The four villages of Saalbach, Leogang, Hinterglemm, and Fieberbrunn together form the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area, for which only one ski pass is required for all locations. The top winter sports region with its wide, perfectly groomed slopes extends to snow-sure altitudes and features practice lifts for beginners, off-piste slopes for freeriding, and a racing slope. With clear information boards and a detailed piste map, you can always quickly find your way to the next slope. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various options for enjoyable après-ski. A snow park promises a lot of fun.
