Location

Located near the border of the federal states of Tyrol and Salzburg, Hotel Astrid offers a special location for exploring the Salzburger Land region. Its quiet setting and proximity to the Kohlmaisbahn (approx. 200 m) invite you to a relaxing holiday in the mountains. The center of Saalbach with its dining options is only about 500-600 m away. As an entry point to the Glemmtal mountain world, the hotel particularly attracts mountain bikers and hikers. The Panorama Trail and the Milka Line end directly in front of the hotel.

Facilities

This comfortable hotel, suitable for families or couples, offers a total of 39 rooms furnished in a mix of traditional and modern alpine-style elements. It features a welcoming lobby with a lounge area and reception, a hotel bar, and for a fee, an à la carte restaurant "626" (open from 6:30 PM to 9 PM; the hotel bar and restaurant are closed on Mondays). To stay connected or share your experiences on social media, guests have access to free Wi-Fi. For unwinding after an active day, the indoor and outdoor relaxation area is recommended.

Double Room

The double rooms located on the ground floor offer a double bed and bunk beds, a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and toiletries, as well as a hairdryer, telephone, cable TV (42-inch flat screen), radio, room safe (incl.), Wi-Fi, seating area, bath bag with a complimentary bathrobe for the duration of your stay, and a terrace with a view of the parking spaces (approx. 23 sqm, D).

Double Room "Gspezig"

The newly renovated "Gspezig" rooms offer a comfortable double bed, an open-plan bathroom with a separate toilet, and a small refrigerator, as well as a balcony. The remaining amenities are similar to the double rooms (approx. 19-23 sqm, DA).

Double Room "Gfiareg"

The "Gfiareg" rooms, with otherwise similar amenities to the "Gspezig" rooms, are slightly more spacious and, in addition to the double bed, offer a sofa bed (approx. 25-29 sqm, DB).

Junior Suite

The "Hoagascht" category Junior Suite offers a welcoming and cozy atmosphere with a combined living/sleeping area with a double bed and a sleeping area with a double sofa bed, separated by a sliding door. Otherwise, the amenities are similar to the "Gspezig" or "Gfiareg" double rooms (approx. 34-43 sqm, JS2).

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there will be a new charge called the "Mobility Tax." This fee will be collected along with the local tax per overnight stay and will be used for the expansion of transportation. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport at their vacation destination. The tax must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
