Location

Spend an relaxing yet active holiday in Kaprun. The non-smoking hotel Das Alpenhaus Kaprun (altitude approx. 786 m) is located right in the center. Cafés, restaurants, and shops are right next to the hotel. The nearest attraction (high-alpine reservoirs) is about 9 km away. Zell am See, about 7 km away, beckons with the picturesque Zeller See, perfect for water lovers. A golf course is located approximately 3 km from the hotel. Enjoy entertaining hours at the Tauern Spa water park with its indoor and outdoor pools, located about 1.7 km away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the directly adjacent Kitzsteinhorn hiking area. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Maiskogelbahn cable car is also just about 200 m away. You can get active and enjoy the scenery on a cycle path located directly next to the hotel.

For your culinary well-being, there is the à la carte restaurant "Weinstube", the restaurant "ALPENHAUS.RESTAURANT", the hotel bar "ALPENHAUS.BAR", and a public bar.
