Especially in winter:
Schmitten-Zell am See ski area: Altitude: approx. 750-1,965 m. The winter sports area with its wide slopes is considered an Eldorado for snowboarders and skiers and features practice lifts for beginners, a race course, and Wi-Fi hotspots. Various huts and, of course, après-ski options provide for social gatherings off the slopes and for warming drinks and snacks. The Schmitten snow park also promises plenty of fun.
