Spend a relaxing holiday in Zauchensee. The Magic Mountains Hotel Alpenrose (approx. 1,350 m above sea level) is located just about 100 m from the center. You can reach cafés and restaurants in approx. 50 m, and the nearest shops are about 10 km from your holiday accommodation. The nearest attraction (Magic Center) is about 450 m away. The picturesque Zauchensee lake awaits all water lovers about 400 m away. You can cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool in Radstadt, approx. 15.2 km away. In Altenmarkt, about 10 km away, the Amadé thermal spa invites you to enjoy a swim regardless of the weather. The Wild- und Freizeitpark Untertauern is located about 25.9 km from the hotel. Experience untouched nature in the Hohe Tauern National Park, about 58 km away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the directly adjacent hiking area Salzburger Sportwelt with a total hiking trail network of approx. 19.5 km and the Altenmarkt and Zauchensee hiking trails. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Gamskogelbahn cable car is also just about 200 m away. Due to its special location, your holiday resort is perfect for cyclists. You can enjoy yourself on a cycle path directly at the property and with an extensive overall network of about 600 km of cycle paths.

An extensive network of cycle paths and well-marked hiking trails offer the optimal conditions for this. The area can also be wonderfully explored by Nordic walking.
Especially in summer, you can combine nature experience and sporting activity perfectly in and around Zauchensee by swimming.

The traditionally furnished non-smoking rooms (2FS, approx. 36 sqm) feature cable TV, telephone, radio, shower or bath, separate toilet, and hairdryer, and some have a balcony. The rooms consist of a bedroom with a double bed and a separate living/sleeping area with a bunk bed.

Full Board

Meals begin with dinner on the day of arrival and end with lunch or a packed lunch on the day of departure.
- Breakfast (from 7:30 AM to 10 AM): Rich and varied breakfast buffet with rolls, pastries, several wholemeal breads, various jams & honey, various cold cuts, ham, and bacon, soft-boiled eggs, fresh juice, muesli, cornflakes or similar, milk, fresh fruit, and breakfast drinks.
- Lunch "Light Lunch": Salad buffet (at least 3 different types), 1 cheese and 1 cold cut platter, various types of bread, hot dishes such as hearty soup (e.g., goulash soup), pasta dishes, Kaiserschmarrn, sausages, Gröstl, meat patties, Leberkäse and mashed potatoes or similar.
- Packed lunch: Guests can prepare their own packed lunch upon prior request. The packed lunch consists of: 2 rolls, 1 sweet item, 1 drink, and 1 piece of fruit.
- Dinner: 3-course menu of choice (at least two main courses to choose from) and an additional salad buffet or a corresponding themed buffet. Dinner is served at the standard of the respective hotel category. Children have the option to choose from an adult menu.
- Drinks: Soft drinks are included with lunch and dinner.
