Location

The elegant and exclusive 5-star Hotel Excelsior is superbly integrated into the historic 16th-century fortifications of Valletta, offering a dreamlike view of the harbor. Valletta's center with its numerous sights, restaurants, and cafes is just a few minutes' walk away. The airport is approximately 8 km from the hotel.

Facilities

The hotel has a total of 428 rooms spread across 10 floors. Amenities include a spacious lobby with reception, 3 elevators, a lobby lounge, 4 bars, a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, and a poolside restaurant. The outdoor area features a large pool area and terraces with sun loungers and umbrellas. The hotel also has a small, purpose-built beach area.

Deluxe Double Room

The double rooms feature a bath/shower and toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning/heating (centrally controlled), desk, coffee/tea making facilities, telephone, minibar, and safe (included) and a balcony (DD2).
Also bookable as a double room for single occupancy (DD1).
Rooms with side sea view (DDS/EDD), sea view (DDM/DM1), or seafront with terrace (2B/1B) are available at an additional charge.
Additionally bookable with inland view as type A (DDA) or garden view (DGD).

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms are located on the 7th to 10th floors, and the amenities are similar to the Deluxe Double Rooms (DSU). Also available for single occupancy (DSE) or with a side sea view at an additional charge (D2S/AQ2/1SD).

Family Room

The classic, upscale family room is equipped with a king-size bed and two twin beds. The two sleeping areas are separated by a connecting door. The bathroom offers a bathtub or shower and toilet, as well as a hairdryer. Further amenities include a balcony, carpeted floor, air conditioning (centrally controlled), Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone, kettle, safe (free of charge), and a minibar (for a fee) (approx. 60m², DF2).

Family Room with Pool View

The family rooms located by the pool area are on the ground floor and feature two interconnected sleeping areas, one with a comfortable double bed and the other with twin beds. Otherwise, they are equipped similarly to the classic family rooms (approx. 60m², FP2).

Excelsior Suite

The elegant and sophisticated "Excelsior" Suite with a separate living area with seating and a sleeping area with a king-size bed or twin beds combines comfort and luxury. On the furnished balcony, you can particularly enjoy the magnificent panoramic view and the warm air. The further amenities and size are similar to the family rooms (S2).
