Location

The Hotel Marina is located in a quiet area at the entrance to Matala, approx. 900 m from the sandy beach. Shops and entertainment facilities are in the center of Matala, approx. 900m away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 70 km away.

Facilities

The small complex has 21 rooms and was completely renovated in winter 2025/26. The hotel offers a reception with safety deposit boxes, a lobby with bar, internet corner and Wi-Fi throughout the complex included, as well as a breakfast room. In the well-maintained outdoor area, amidst a blooming garden, there is a freshwater swimming pool with sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool. Parking spaces can be used free of charge at the hotel.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
