Location

The family-run hotel is situated amidst an authentic Cretan setting in Malia, surrounded by a lush garden and just a few steps from shops. The beautiful sandy beach is approx. 150 m away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 32 km from the hotel.

This comfortable schauinsland-reisen original hotel complex for guests aged 12 and over features 48 rooms and offers a reception (24h) with a lobby, a lounge area with a fireplace, a mini-library, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), a restaurant with outdoor seating and an open-plan kitchen with show cooking, as well as a bar (11 am-11 pm). In addition to drinks at the bar, the hotel offers a drinking fountain with fresh spring water. The newly designed outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool, a sun terrace with comfortable loungers and seating areas perfect for relaxation, and a small orchard with figs and pomegranates. Pool/beach towels are available free of charge. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are offered by external providers on the sandy beaches of Malia (for a fee).

The bright and modernly furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, and a king-size bed or two single beds. Further amenities include individually adjustable air conditioning and a ceiling fan, telephone, 32'' flatscreen TV, safe, Wi-Fi (included), coffee/tea maker (daily refill), Nespresso machine (2 capsules per day included), mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (DSU).
Optionally available at an extra charge with pool view (DSP), for single occupancy (DSE), or as a triple room (DAS).

Note on Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from 1/1/2018 onwards, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience contribution, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room from 1/1/2025.
