Location

The South Coast hotel is located directly on the natural pebble beach (bathing shoes recommended) of Koutsouras. In this quiet village, you will find tavernas and shops. Ierapetra is about 24 km away. A bus stop is about 50 m from the hotel. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 110 km.

The small complex is managed with a family atmosphere and great care, and is a schauinsland-reisen original. Your hosts and the entire team ensure a thoroughly pleasant holiday. The total of 92 rooms are spread across 5 buildings. Indoors, the comfortably furnished hotel offers guests a 24-hour reception, a souvenir shop, a TV and lounge area with satellite TV, and a restaurant. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. Outdoors, there is a beautifully landscaped swimming pool with an inviting sun terrace, surrounded by a lush garden with palm trees, as well as a pool/snack bar with a seating terrace. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool; sunbeds and umbrellas are available for a fee on the beach. Beach towels are available for a fee. There is also another annex building with its own swimming pool, sunbeds, umbrellas, and a pool bar.
Adjacent to the hotel, the family runs its own Aloe Vera plantation and is happy to inform you about the cultivation, processing, and quality of the cosmetic series derived from it. The hotel's own products can be purchased at the hotel.

Renovated Double Room Deluxe

The Double Rooms Deluxe, renovated for Summer 2025, feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi (included), kettle, mini-fridge, dining area, and a balcony or terrace (DD2).
Also available for single occupancy (DD1).

Double Room Superior

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, they additionally feature an espresso machine with 2 capsules upon arrival (DSU/DSI).
Also available for single occupancy (DSE).

Double Room Chillout

The rooms, newly built for Summer 2026, have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, plus a ceiling fan, bathrobes, slippers, full-length mirror, cosmetic mirror, and a furnished balcony or terrace with 2 comfortable loungers, 2 gazebos, or 2 lounge chairs (C2D/ACD).
Also available for single occupancy (C1H).

Maisonette

The modernly designed maisonettes are located in the annex building. They have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, plus a sleeping area on the upper floor (accessible via stairs). Further amenities include daily cleaning and daily towel change. Bed linen is changed twice a week (M2/TM2).

Suite Deluxe

The Deluxe Suites, also renovated for Summer 2025, have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, plus a separate bedroom, and are more spacious (S2/SI).
Also available for single occupancy (S1).

Breakfast from 7:30 AM to 10 AM and dinner from 7 PM to 9 PM, served buffet style.

Local alcoholic beverages such as house wine, beer, raki, and ouzo, and non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, soft drinks, juices, and water are included from 11 AM to 10 PM. A selection of cocktails is included from 3 PM to 10 PM.
Gluten-free dishes are available upon request.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy
