Location

The Ventale Island Breeze Resort is located between Rethymnon and Chania, just outside the village of Kavros. The hotel is situated directly on the beach, overlooking the Cretan Sea. In the village of Kavros, only a five-minute walk from the Ventale Resort, you'll find gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, taverns, fast-food outlets, souvenir shops, and much more! Lake Kournas, a freshwater lake perfect for swimming, is only 5 km away. The fishing village of Georgioupolis is 4 km away, Heraklion International Airport is 100 km away, and Chania International Airport is 50 km away. The distance to the beautiful old town of Chania is approx. 45 km, and the equally picturesque old town of Rethymno is approx. 20 km away.

The Ventale Island Breeze Resort, Crete's most enchanting sanctuary, opened its doors in the summer of 2024. With just 85 rooms, it offers guests an oasis of tranquility, blending luxury and nature harmoniously. The 3-story main building features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, 2 elevators, a TV lounge, a mini-market, and free Wi-Fi. For dining, the main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, and the beach bar cater to your needs. Additionally, the main bar with its large terrace directly by the pool and the lobby bar offer refreshing drinks. The heart of the resort is the outdoor pool, complete with three whirlpool seating areas. This inviting pool area serves as an oasis of relaxation and leisure, with free sun loungers and umbrellas available. Guests may need to present their room key to access the pool areas to ensure a serene environment for everyone. For those seeking a touch of luxury, gazebos are available on the beach. These pavilions offer personalized services (at an additional charge, including water, sparkling wine, and fruit), ensuring your day in the sun is even more enjoyable. Furthermore, free sun loungers and umbrellas are provided for all guests, making relaxation on the beach unparalleled.

Premium Double Room Sea View

These rooms feature a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed or two single beds, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a balcony with a sea view (P2M). Amenities include a hairdryer, high-quality signature bathroom products, bathrobes, slippers, a beach bag with towels, an electronic scale, individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), a Smart TV (with satellite & music channels, including Netflix subscription), telephone, safe (included), USB port, minibar (for a fee), espresso machine, tea and coffee maker, ironing facilities, turndown service, and a pillow menu. A bottle of water and a welcome treat are provided upon arrival. Also available as a single occupancy room with land view (PEZ).

Premium Double Room Swim Up Sea View

These rooms, with the same amenities and size as the Premium Double Rooms Sea View, offer direct access to a private pool (DPJ/DUM).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please exercise caution when using this area, especially with children, and act responsibly.

Horizon Maisonette Pool View

The maisonette, with views of the impressive pool, consists of two levels. The ground floor features a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa and a convenient bathroom. A staircase leads to the upper floor/level, where the master bedroom with 2 single beds or a king-size bed and a 55" LED satellite TV is located. There is also a large balcony (MP). The amenities are identical to the Premium Double Rooms, but offer pool views instead of sea views.

Prestige Junior Suite Sea View

With otherwise identical amenities to the Premium Double Rooms, the Junior Suite has an open-plan design and comprises a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a living area with one or two sofas and a terrace or balcony (J2M).

Prestige Junior Suite Swim Up

The swim-up Junior Suites, with otherwise identical amenities to the Prestige Junior Suite Sea View, feature a private pool on the balcony and offer land views (SUJ). Optionally available with sea view for an extra charge (W2/JMI).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please exercise caution when using this area, especially with children, and act responsibly.

Sky Junior Suite

The Sky Suites, with otherwise identical amenities to the Prestige Junior Suites Sea View, are located on the upper floor and offer sea views (MSJ).

Sky Junior Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the Sky Junior Suites, these offer direct access to a private pool, accessible via stairs (SSJ).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please exercise caution when using this area, especially with children, and act responsibly.

Infinity Suite Swim Up

The Infinity Suites combine luxury and offer absolute comfort. With the same amenities as the Prestige Junior Suites Swim Up, the suite has an open design and consists of a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a living room with 1 or 2 large sofa beds, and a balcony that leads directly to the private infinity pool. Additionally, the Infinity Suites offer a dining area and a spectacular view of Georgioupolis Bay (W2Q).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please exercise caution when using this area, especially with children, and act responsibly.

Half Board

The main restaurant "Anthea" offers a light breakfast from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM and an extensive buffet from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM with a selection of over 250 items. Drinks such as water (still or sparkling), juices (fresh orange juice), filter coffee, instant coffee, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, smoothies, and milkshakes are served at the table.
From 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Anthea offers a daily changing culinary delight with a rich buffet and live cooking stations. Themed nights often take place, taking you on a culinary journey around the world.
A selection of Cretan, Greek, and international bottled wines, draft beer, and soft drinks are available at an additional charge during dinner.
Once a week, dinner can be enjoyed at the à la carte restaurant; reservations are required.
Vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free dishes are prepared upon request.

For a fee

From 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM, you can enjoy a selection of snacks, ice cream, salads, light meals, and other delicacies at the restaurants, by the pool, or at the beach bar restaurant.
BEACH BAR RESTAURANT “HORIZON”: open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Enjoy a wide selection of selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic brand-name drinks, selected cocktails, spirits,
beer, soft drinks, juices, filter coffee, tea, instant coffee, espresso, cappuccino, Greek coffee.

7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and promises a journey through the tastes and aromas of Crete/the Mediterranean.

Information regarding climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room starting from January 1, 2025.
