Location

The quietly located hotel is situated in Gouves, approximately 600 m from the sandy beach. A free shuttle service to the beach is offered several times a day. Shops and entertainment facilities are available in the vicinity, and the center of Gouves is 450 m away. A bus stop with regular connections to Heraklion is located near the hotel. Heraklion Airport is about 15 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly, high-quality, and stylishly built hotel complex will undergo partial renovations for the summer of 2026.
The hotel consists of several buildings, divided into two sections, Aelius & Sensus, with a total of 200 rooms. It features a 24-hour reception, lobby, elevators, the buffet restaurant "Erontas" with outdoor seating, the à la carte restaurant "Kritamos" (Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine), and a mini-market.
In the beautifully designed outdoor area of the Aelius section, there are 2 freshwater swimming pools with 2 separate children's pools, a sun terrace, and the pool/snackbar "Agiazi". Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach. Pool towels are provided free of charge.
The new Sensus area has its own pool/snackbar "Aura" and its own swimming pool and is exclusively reserved for guests of the "Sensus" rooms.
High-speed internet access is included throughout the complex and in the rooms.

The comfortable double rooms (D/DA; bookable under hotel code HER808) are equipped with a double bed or 2 single beds, 32" satellite TV, telephone, free high-speed Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning (cold/hot), mini-fridge (free bottle of water upon arrival), coffee and tea making facilities, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/toilet and hairdryer, as well as a furnished balcony or terrace.
Also available for single occupancy (DE; bookable under hotel code HER808).

Double Room with Private Pool

In addition to all other features, these rooms have a terrace with sun loungers and a private pool, as well as extra amenities such as a bathrobe and slippers (PPZ).
The private pool is not supervised. Please be extra careful with children and act responsibly when using this area.

The comfortable Superior Double Rooms with Private Pool (U2P) are equipped with a double bed or 2 single beds, 32" satellite TV, telephone, free high-speed Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning (cold/hot), mini-fridge (free bottle of water upon arrival), coffee and tea making facilities, a bathroom with shower/toilet, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, and a hairdryer, as well as a furnished terrace with sun loungers and a private pool.
The private pool is not supervised. Please be extra careful with children and act responsibly when using this area.

Deluxe Double Room

The comfortable Superior Double Rooms Roof Garden (CRD) are located in the "Sensus" hotel section and are equipped with a double bed, 43" Smart satellite TV, telephone, free high-speed Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning (cold/hot), mini-fridge (filled with a bottle of water upon arrival), coffee and tea making facilities, Nespresso coffee machine with 2 capsules refilled daily, a bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, as well as a furnished balcony with pool view.
Exclusive access to the roof garden, equipped with whirlpools and sun loungers, with exclusive availability of your own whirlpool. The whirlpools are arranged side by side. You may encounter other guests using their pools.

Maisonette

The comfortable Maisonette rooms (M2) are located in the "Sensus" hotel section and are equipped with a double bed, 43" Smart satellite TV, telephone, free high-speed Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning (cold/hot), mini-fridge (filled with a bottle of water upon arrival), coffee and tea making facilities, and a visually separated sleeping area with a single bed, 43" Smart satellite TV, and individually controlled air conditioning (cold/hot) on the upper level, a bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, as well as a furnished balcony with a view of the Sensus pool.

Breakfast (7:30-10:30 AM), lunch (12:45-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30-9:30 PM) served as a buffet in the main restaurant. Cretan specialties and live cooking are available for breakfast and dinner. Optional breakfast (Mon-Wed-Fri) or dinner at the à la carte restaurant (included once a week, reservation required). Snacks are available from 11 AM to 5 PM, coffee/tea, pastries, and ice cream are included at the pool bar. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, water, juices, draft beer, wine (white, red, rosé), raki, ouzo, brandy, gin, vodka, rum, tequila, and some cocktails are included from 10 AM to 11 PM at the pool/snackbar.

Sports included

Fitness room "Warm-up Box", open daily from 7 AM to 9 PM, equipped with a treadmill, elliptical trainer, exercise bike, and some weights, as well as an outdoor calisthenics area and yoga area.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day per room.
