Location

The Anthoula Village Hotel is ideal for all holidaymakers who appreciate Cretan hospitality and prefer smaller hotels. The hotel is family-run and offers a wonderful proximity to the beach (approx. 200m away). The nearest tourist centre is only about 350m away, and the island's capital, Heraklion, is about 21km away. Local buses are a good way to explore the island's beautiful towns and beaches; the nearest bus stop is about 150m away. Heraklion Airport (HER) is approximately 22km away.

Facilities

The cozy, traditional hotel has 43 rooms spread across a main building and 4 annexes. The hotel features a beautiful garden with a sun terrace and a swimming pool. Guests who wish to spend a day by the pool can enjoy cool drinks from the pool bar. Delicious breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel's own restaurant. Guests wishing to explore Crete by rental car can park their car free of charge at the hotel.

Local alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine, raki, and ouzo, as well as local non-alcoholic drinks, are available free of charge for all-inclusive guests from 11 AM to 11 PM at the bar that is open at the time.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience fee, which guests must pay locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room from January 1, 2025.
For stays during high season (April 1 - October 31):
1-2 star rating: 2 Euros
3 star rating: 5 Euros
4 star rating: 10 Euros
5 star rating: 15 Euros
For stays during low season (November 1 - March 31):
1-2 star rating: 0.50 Euros
3 star rating: 1.50 Euros
4 star rating: 3 Euros
5 star rating: 4 Euros
