Location

The Maravel Star Art hotel is located directly on the beautiful, long sandy/pebble beach of Adelianos Kambos, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag". It is approx. 8 km from the center of Rethymnon. Numerous shopping and entertainment facilities are available in Rethymnon. Regular local bus connections are available, and a bus stop is located nearby. Heraklion Airport is approx. 70 km away, and Chania Airport is approx. 73 km away.

Facilities

The family-run schauinsland-reisen original Adults-friendly hotel (bookable for ages 12 and up) has been renovated and modernized in some areas for Summer 2024. It has a total of 41 rooms, a new lounge with a 24-hour reception, elevator, Wi-Fi (included), and a modernized main restaurant. The outdoor area features a swimming pool with a terrace and a beach bar. In the garden area, gazebos, poufs, hammocks, and a selection of sun loungers, lounge furniture, and umbrellas are available free of charge around the pool, inviting guests to relax. At the beach, sun loungers with comfortable mattresses and umbrellas are also available free of charge. Bath towels are included (changed every 2 days. Earlier exchanges are possible for a fee).

Renovated double room

The double rooms have been redesigned for Summer 2024 and boast a modern ambiance. They feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, a new comfortable king-size bed, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, full-length mirror, Wi-Fi, telephone, rental safe, 52" plasma satellite TV, insect screens on the windows, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities with daily refill, kettle, Nespresso machine (2 capsules per day included, further capsules available at extra charge), and a balcony or terrace (D/DA). A bottle of water is provided upon arrival.
Optionally available with sea view (DM) or for single occupancy (DE/DEA/DEM) at an extra charge.

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious and also located close to the beach with a sea view (VI2).

Note for climate resilience fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be staggered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
