The family-friendly Horizon Beach hotel is situated in a quiet location directly on the gently sloping sandy beach on the outskirts of Mastichari. The town center is about 2 km away, and Kos Town is around 20 km away. A local bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The airport is approx. 7 km away.

The attractive and extensive hotel complex has 536 rooms, spread across a main building and 2- to 3-story bungalow buildings. The main building houses the elegant lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lounge, an amphitheater, and a TV room. Two large main restaurants with a stylish ambiance offer views over the pools to the sea. There is also a beach snack bar. Further facilities include a taverna, the main bar, a minimarket, and a spa area. The garden area features four freshwater swimming pool landscapes, each with a pool/snack bar, and an additional five children's pools are available. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pools, and available for a fee on the beach. Bath towels can be rented for a fee. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Double Room

The renovated rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, rental safe, air conditioning, and balcony/terrace with garden or pool view (D/DI). All rooms are located on the ground floor up to the 2nd floor.
Optionally available at an additional charge with a side sea view (DMS), direct sea view (DM), or on the ground floor as type A (DA).
Additionally available at an extra charge as a Seafront Double Room (D2W).

Single Room

These are double rooms for single use on the ground floor (DE).
Optionally available at an additional charge with garden view (DEA), side sea view (DES/EIA), or as a superior double room for single use (DSE).

Family Room

With otherwise identical amenities to the double rooms, the family rooms consist of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. The rooms are connected by a small private hallway, are located on the pool side with garden view, and have a balcony or terrace (DF2).

Superior Double Room

These rooms, with identical amenities to the double rooms, feature a bath/walk-in shower and are located in the newer building section (DSU).
Optionally available at an additional charge as a Superior Seafront Double Room (RF2).

Superior Family Room

With the same amenities as the family rooms, these are more spacious (F2U).

Half Board

American breakfast buffet (7-10 AM) and dinner (6:30 PM-9:30 PM) served buffet-style.
Drinks are not included during dinner.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays in high season April 1 - October 31:
National classification 1-2 Stars: 2 Euros
National classification 3 Stars: 5 Euros
National classification 4 Stars: 10 Euros
National classification 5 Stars: 15 Euros
For stays in low season November 1 - March 31:
