Location

The family-run Hotel Koala is ideally located between Kos Town and the pebble beach, making it perfect for beach holidays and city trips. Kos Town, with its numerous shopping and entertainment options as well as restaurants and bars, is about 1 km away. Public transport is available with a bus stop (approx. 100 m away) for exploring the city. The airport (KGS) is approximately 25 km away.

The 3-story, 2-star city hotel has 49 rooms. All rooms are well-maintained and equipped with basic amenities for a comfortable stay. It features a 24-hour reception (check-in from 2 PM, check-out until 12 PM), a lobby bar, an elevator, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), and currency exchange services. The hotel also offers a beautiful garden with a large terrace. Dining and drinks are available at the breakfast room, the snack bar, and the hotel bar. Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by guests on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room from January 1, 2025.
