Location

The small Hotel Kalimera Mare is located on the south coast of the popular Greek holiday island of Kos. The nearest sandy beach, about 100 m away, can be reached in a few minutes' walk. The center of Kardamena with taverns and shops is about 4 kilometers away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. Kos Airport is approximately 10 km away.

The lovingly managed complex was renovated in 2024 and has 43 rooms, offering a lobby with a reception. The restaurant "Dionysos" and the bar "Socrates" cater to your culinary needs. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.
The attractively designed garden area features a swimming pool with an integrated children's pool and a sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, available for a fee on the beach. Towels can be rented for a fee. Parking is available at the hotel free of charge, subject to availability.

The renovated Deluxe Double Rooms are comfortably and elegantly furnished and, with otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms, feature a garden view (DD2).

The Deluxe Double Rooms, completely renovated for Summer 2024, are comfortably and elegantly furnished and, with otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms, feature a sea view (DDM).

Family Room

With otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms, they feature 2 air conditioning units, a combined living/sleeping area with 2 sofa beds, and a separate bedroom (DF2).

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board

Breakfast is served as a rich buffet (8-10:30 AM).
For guests with booked half board, dinner is also included. Dinner (7:45 PM - 9:30 PM) includes a buffet with starters and desserts, and a menu for the main course.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be staggered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room from 01.01.2025.
