The lovingly managed complex is located slightly above the sand/pebble beach, which is accessible via a few steps. The green surroundings and the dreamlike view of the turquoise-blue sea immediately put you in a holiday mood. The small village of Gerakini, with shops, bars, and tavernas, is about 1 km away. A bus stop is about 300 meters away, and Thessaloniki Airport can be reached in approx. 65 km.

The holiday complex, very popular with regular guests and families, is available on the German market as a schauinsland-reisen Original. Through continuous renovations in recent years, the established hotel has become a modern facility with stylish rooms and many amenities, without losing its typical Greek charm and the usual friendly service. The hotel consists of several buildings with a total of 140 rooms spread across the well-kept garden complex and features a reception area, an à la carte gourmet bistro "Panorama" with an outdoor terrace offering a magnificent view, a satellite TV corner, Wi-Fi (included), the main restaurant "Mediterranean", and a boutique/mini-market "Agora". Also overlooking the sea, the outdoor area includes the swimming pool, a separate children's pool with sun terrace, and the pool bar "Aegean". The "Aura" lounge bar directly on the beach provides refreshments. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach. For All-Inclusive guests, sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach (one set, consisting of two loungers and one umbrella per room) are included. A set of beach towels is provided free of charge (free change every three days).
Since summer 2025, the newly designed beach area is available for even more relaxation and leisurely hours. The "Aura Beach Lounge" directly on the beach awaits guests with two comfortable seating areas offering shaded spots, including poufs, numerous plants, and atmospheric lighting. Additionally, various garden areas provide spaces for relaxation such as yoga and Pilates, as well as the opportunity to watch films and sports events outdoors. Completed by renewed paths, showers, changing rooms, and comfortable sun loungers, the spot directly by the sea is the ideal feel-good location for young and old.

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms Sea View, the Deluxe Double Rooms are more modernly furnished and feature a semi-open bathroom. All guests receive the following additional services: daily refilled minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers), high-speed internet access, and an espresso machine incl. 2 capsules per day. A luggage rack is available, and guests in this room category receive a beach bag with the Sonia Hotel logo (DDM).

Deluxe Double Room Sea View Renovated

The Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View, freshly renovated for summer 2026 with a new design, feature the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View, including bathroom amenities, a cosmetic mirror, a 43" Smart TV, and free Wi-Fi. All guests also receive the following services: daily refilled minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers). A luggage rack is available, and guests in this room category receive a beach bag with the Sonia Hotel logo (2DQ).

Designed in a modern style, the Junior Suites are slightly more spacious and feature a visually separated living area with a pull-out sofa bed, as well as a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), microwave, coffee machine (incl. daily refill), daily refilled minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers), and a safe (included). They are located on the ground floor with a terrace and garden view (JS2/JSI).

Premium Deluxe Double Room Sea View

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View, these rooms feature a separate bathroom with shower, WC, sink, additional storage space, and toiletries, as well as a Smart TV (43-inch) and Wi-Fi (included). All guests also receive the following services: daily refilled minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers). The espresso machine is refilled daily with 4 capsules. The main restaurant "Mediterranean" opens its doors during the main meal times. From 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, a varied breakfast buffet with show cooking awaits you, including filter coffee, cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, tea, juices, and water. From 1 PM to 2:30 PM, a lunch buffet with changing dishes is available. For dinner from 6 PM to 9:30 PM, you can also help yourself to the buffet with 3 theme nights per week and the show cooking station. Soft drinks, wines, beer, tea, coffee specialties, juices, brandy, ouzo, and water are included with meals. For children, there is a separate mini-buffet with fries, nuggets, and pasta dishes during lunch and dinner.
At the à la carte Panorama restaurant and the "Aegean" pool bar, soft-serve ice cream, snacks, and pastries (sweet and savory) are offered from 11 AM to 6 PM. In a weekly selection, our guests receive, among other things, mini-club sandwiches, tortillas, baguette sandwiches, crackers, and traditional Greek pastries. Desserts and fresh fruit are also served daily.
The pool bar offers soft drinks, coffee specialties, hot chocolate, tea, iced tea, water, draft beer, wine, ouzo, brandy, and cocktails (Screwdriver, Tequila Sunrise, Pina Colada, Cuba Libre, Aperol Spritz, Wine Spritz) as well as long drinks with gin, vodka, rum, tequila, brandy, bitters, or whiskey from 10 AM to 10:30 PM.
At the à la carte Panorama restaurant, additional drinks such as beer, premium aperitifs and liqueurs, as well as other branded spirits and cocktails (Mojito, Screwdriver, Tequila Sunrise, Pina Colada, Cuba Libre, Aperol Spritz, Wine Spritz, Ouzo Cocktails) and long drinks with gin, vodka, rum, tequila, brandy, bitters, or whiskey are also included from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM.
At the "Aura" beach bar, instant coffee, frappe, beer, soft drinks, iced tea, juices, and cocktails (Pina Colada, Screwdriver, Tequila Sunrise, Pink Mastiha, Cuba Libre) are available from 9 AM to 10:30 PM.
Appropriate attire (Smart Casual) is requested in the restaurants.
When booking All Inclusive, sun loungers and umbrellas are included in a specific section of the beach.

In the small but fine "Melia Spa" you will find peace and relaxation. The experienced staff will create an optimal and personal pampering program for you from a variety of different massages and treatments for body and face. Furthermore, a sauna and steam bath are available.

Entertainment

The animation team offers various sports and entertainment activities for adults and children 6 times a week. In the mornings, there are various activities such as sports, yoga, water games, etc., and in the evenings, there are performances, competitions, pool parties, shows, and theme nights to suit every taste. During the Greek Night, guests get a good insight into Greek culture through a series of traditional activities such as folk dances. There is also a live music night with Greek and international songs.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
