Location

The resort on the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast is located in the Hohwacht Bay. The holiday park is separated from the 3 km long sandy beach only by the dunes. Depending on the location of the accommodation unit, you can reach the beach after approx. 150 to 400 meters. Hansa-Park can be reached after approx. 30 km.

Facilities

In addition to accommodation, the Ferien- und Freizeitpark Weissenhäuser Strand offers a huge range of leisure activities for all weather conditions and seasons. The 95-hectare holiday resort has a beach hotel with 182 rooms and several holiday apartments and houses with over 1000 accommodation units spread throughout the resort. Amenities include the 6,000 m² "Abenteuer Dschungelland" adventure hall, the sports and games park with tennis court, archery range, and more, the "Waterpark" wakeboarding and water skiing facility, and the "Dünengalerie" with restaurants and a bar, as well as the entrance to the over 10,000 m² "Subtropical Bathing Paradise" with a wave pool. Adjacent is the village square with a supermarket and shops. The beach hotel also houses the "Sonnenrose" restaurant with a terrace, a conference center, and a directly connected "Dünenbad" with beauty, wellness, sports, and sauna areas.

The 2-room apartments (1WA, approx. 40 sqm) are located in the "Am Park" apartment building and consist of a combined living/bedroom with a double sofa bed as sleeping accommodation for the 3rd/4th person, flat-screen TV, telephone, seating/dining area, fully equipped kitchenette with hot plates, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, and microwave, separate bedroom with double bed, shower/WC, hairdryer, and a spacious, furnished balcony with a clothes drying rack. An elevator is available.
Also bookable with sea view (1WM).
Note: For selected periods, also available as Familienknüller 4 (FK4, land side) or Familienknüller 5 (FK5, sea side) with max. 2 adults + min. 1 child and max. 2 children (up to 12.9 years).

The 1-room apartments (AST, approx. 25 sqm) are located in the three-story "An der Düne" apartment building, about 150 meters from the beach, separated only by the dune landscape. An elevator is available. The studios consist of a combined living/bedroom with a double bed, flat-screen TV, telephone, small seating/dining area, fully equipped kitchenette with hot plates, refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, and toaster, shower/WC, hairdryer, and a balcony with a land view.
Also bookable with a fantastic dune view on the sea side (ASM).

The 1-room apartments (BST, approx. 32 sqm) have the same location and amenities as the AST but are slightly more spacious and can accommodate a 3rd person on an extra bed (extra charge approx. €12 per night).

The 1-room studios (CST, approx. 20 sqm) are located in the "Am Park" apartment building and consist of a combined living/bedroom with a double sofa bed (1.40 m wide), flat-screen TV, radio, and telephone, a small seating/dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette with hot plates, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, and microwave, shower/WC, hairdryer, and a furnished balcony with a land view. An elevator is available.
Also bookable with a fantastic dune view on the sea side (CSM).

The 2-room apartments (A1T, approx. 41 sqm) are located in the three-story "Luv" and "Lee" apartment buildings. No elevator available. The apartments consist of a combined living/bedroom with a double sofa bed as sleeping accommodation for the 3rd/4th person, flat-screen TV, seating/dining area, fully equipped kitchenette with hot plates, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, and microwave, separate bedroom with double bed, shower/WC, hairdryer, and a furnished balcony.
It is possible to accommodate a 5th person. The 5th person sleeps on an extra bed. The cost for the extra bed is approx. €12 per night.

The 3-room apartments (A2T, approx. 61 sqm) are located in the three-story "Luv" and "Lee" apartment buildings. No elevator available. The apartments consist of a combined living/bedroom with a sofa, flat-screen TV, seating/dining area, fully equipped kitchenette with hot plates, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, and microwave, two separate bedrooms with double beds (one bedroom may have bunk beds), shower/WC, hairdryer, and a furnished balcony.
Note: From March 24, 2023, the Plus Package (2nd TV in the bedroom, kitchenette with oven and dishwasher, and vinyl flooring) is included in the price.
