Location

Located between Kiel and Flensburg, the spacious holiday complex is situated on an approximately 64-hectare traffic-calmed area. Kiel is about 50 km away, Flensburg about 60 km. The nearest train station is in Eckernförde, about 20 km away.

Facilities

The extensive and well-maintained resort consists of the hotel with over 400 rooms and 207 holiday homes, located directly on the marina. Adjacent to the hotel are two restaurants (à la carte and buffet), a beach and gin/cocktail bar, an American diner (seasonal), a harbor and smoking pub, a supermarket with a bakery, a boutique, a souvenir shop, a launderette, and the marina. A free large car park is located at the entrance to the town with a shuttle bus service (every 20 minutes directly from the hotel). A paid car park is located directly at the hotel. Wi-Fi is included.

Premium House 4 Persons

The "Premium House" holiday homes (HPR, approx. 80 m²) are spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 4 people. On the ground floor, there is a living/dining area with an open-plan kitchen featuring an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer combination, a dining area with a large comfortable sofa corner, TV, and fireplace, as well as a guest toilet and a cozy terrace with seating furniture and a dining table facing south. Upstairs, there are two separate bedrooms (1 with a double bed and a south-facing balcony, and 1 with two single beds), as well as a bathroom with a walk-in shower with a glass enclosure and an unobstructed view of the sky. All holiday homes are non-smoking. Free Wi-Fi access is available.
Alternatively, the houses can also be booked at a special price (HPS) or as a special contingent (FHA).

A-frame House 6 Persons

The detached "A-frame" holiday homes (NDH, approx. 65 m²) are spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 6 people. The ground floor features a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed for 2 people, a flat-screen TV, a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine, a bathroom with a shower/toilet, and a furnished terrace. The upper floor has two separate bedrooms (1 with a double bed and 1 with two single beds). Free Wi-Fi access is available. All holiday homes are non-smoking!
Alternatively, the houses can also be booked at a special price (NDS) or as a special contingent (FHB).

A-frame House 8 Persons

The detached "A-frame" holiday homes (N8H, approx. 85 m²) are spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 8 people. The ground floor features a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed for 2 people, a flat-screen TV, a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine, a bathroom with a shower/toilet, and a furnished terrace. The upper floor has two separate bedrooms (1 with a double bed and 1 with four single beds). Free Wi-Fi access is available. All holiday homes are non-smoking!

Log Cabin 5 Persons

The cozily furnished wooden houses "Log Cabin" (BH5, approx. 46 m²) are detached, ground-floor holiday homes and can accommodate up to 5 people. The holiday homes feature a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed for 1 person, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining area, a bathroom with a shower/toilet, two separate bedrooms (1 with a double bed, 1 with bunk beds), and a furnished terrace. Free Wi-Fi access is available. All holiday homes are non-smoking!
Also available at a special price (BS5) or as a special contingent (H2C).

Comfort Double Room

The Comfort Double Rooms (DKO, approx. 25 m²) are equipped with a king-size bed and feature a 32-inch flat-screen TV and safe, a bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer, and a furnished balcony. The rooms face the land side.
The double rooms are also available for single occupancy (EKO), as economy rooms for double (DCS) or single occupancy (CS1), and with sea view.
Hotel rooms can be booked under hotel code KEL005.

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 31 m²), with otherwise identical amenities to the Comfort Double Rooms, feature a 40-inch flat-screen TV, refrigerator (unstocked), coffee machine, and a panoramic seating area, as well as a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
The rooms are also available for single occupancy (ESU) or as superior economy rooms for double (2US) or single occupancy (1US), and with sea view.
Hotel rooms can be booked under hotel code KEL005.

Family Suite

The Family Suites (SF2, approx. 50 m²) consist of a living room with a large corner sofa, 40-inch flat-screen TV, refrigerator (unstocked), coffee machine, and safe, two separate bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with Viking ship-style bunk beds, a bathroom with a children's washbasin and hairdryer, and a separate toilet, as well as a furnished balcony. The suites face the land side.
Also available as a Family Suite Economy (SFZ), Family Suite Sea View (MFZ), or Family Suite Economy Sea View (SFM).

Sports included

There's everything at Dampland, except boredom! Adventures for the children and a break for the parents – no matter the weather or the season. Because if the beach isn't quite inviting, the indoor fun park Funhalla, the bowling and sports bar Kubbsala, the adventure pool, or the KidsClub awaits (partially for a fee; subject to availability).
Parents can enjoy a fantastic sauna landscape with sea views and a fitness equipment park in Mare Mara. And the beach invites the whole family for long walks. In any season!

3,500 m² indoor fun park "Funhalla" with indoor skater park, waveboards, inline course, climbing tower, squash court, free climbing on 270 m² with 53 different routes, beach hall, badminton hall, multifunctional sports field, archery, and axe throwing, as well as an outdoor area with 2 tennis courts, Dampland Expedition (tour with electric jeeps), and pushchair rental (partially for a fee).

Wellness

Adventure Pool/daily limited to 3 hours; admission subject to capacity) with indoor and outdoor pools, an almost 100 m long adventure slide with light projections and LED effects, a 66 m long speed slide with LED light effects and slide time measurement, a wide slide, children's pool, laser-projected aurora borealis, and the "Värmland" sweat lodge Viking village (sauna village) with light, infusion, and herbal saunas. In the mornings, Värmland can be used daily as a textile family sauna.
Due to maintenance work, the Adventure Pool will be closed from January 13th to January 26th, 2025. During this time, guests can use the panoramic pool in Mare Mara.
