Location

Europe's largest tropical holiday world is located about 60 km south of Berlin and offers an unforgettable holiday experience for all ages. Tropical Islands Resort is situated in the idyllic nature of the popular Spreewald region, which is rich in interesting sights and excursion destinations, making it an ideal starting point for activities in a culturally and historically interesting environment. The Johannismühle wildlife park is located about 21 km from the resort. The Lübben adventure forest, about 22 km away, rounds off the diverse entertainment options in the surrounding area.

In addition to swimming fun for the whole family, Tropical Islands offers a variety of dining options, an entertainment program in the Tropino Kids Club, and diverse accommodation possibilities, as well as a sauna landscape divided into 7 different areas. Swim in the South Sea, or take an excursion to Bali's Lagoon. Embark on exciting expeditions in the world's largest indoor rainforest. The outdoor area of Tropical Islands "AMAZONIA", open all year round, offers fantastic water attractions, extensive sunbathing and sports areas, as well as numerous wellness and relaxation opportunities for the whole family on a gigantic area of 35,000 m².
Tropical Islands awaits you with an incredible water slide adventure! Germany's highest water slide tower, at an amazing 27 meters high, features five different slides. From the leisurely family slide with the wide wave slide to a head-to-head race on the Double Racer slide, everyone will find their perfect sliding experience here!

Accommodation

Double Room Premium

The themed Premium Double Rooms are charmingly located by the lagoon, the South Sea, the Boulevard, the rainforest, the Wayang Plaza, and the Tropical Village, or are situated directly in thematically designed areas such as the harbor town or Tortuga Bay – right in the heart of the action! The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, shower, toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and a kettle for coffee and tea. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed (approx. 22-30 m², PDZ).

Premium Family Room

The themed Premium Family Rooms are located in various thematically designed areas such as the Tropical Village, the harbor town, Tortuga Bay, or on the edge of the rainforest – right in the heart of the action! The rooms feature a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, shower, toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and a kettle for coffee and tea. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a bunk bed and a living/sleeping area with a double bed (approx. 26-33 m², PF2).

Double Room Comfort

Similar to the Comfort Family Rooms, the "Ohana" Double Rooms Comfort offer the same location and style. However, the Double Rooms Comfort consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a single sofa bed (approx. 30m², DKO).

Family Room Comfort

The Comfort Family Rooms "Ohana", named after the Hawaiian word for "family," are located by the Tropical Islands Hall (direct access) with views of nature. The rooms, decorated in a Polynesian-Hawaiian style, offer peace and quiet in a tropical ambiance with all the amenities of a modern hotel room. The rooms feature a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, coffee and tea station, air conditioning, shower, separate toilet, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, and outward-facing windows with fresh air. The rooms consist of two sleeping areas with a double bed and a bunk bed, respectively. No intermediate cleaning is provided during your stay (FC2).

2-person Tent

The safari tents are equipped with mattresses, pillows, and light duvets – to be made up by guests themselves – and have showers and toilets nearby. Occupancy: min. 2 adults, max. 2 adults and 1 child (0-4 years) on parents' mattress (approx. 7 m², ZE).

4-person Tent

Similar to the 2-person tents, the safari tents for 4 people are slightly larger and have the following occupancy options: min. 2 adults and 1 child, max. 4 adults and 1 child (0-4 years) on parents' mattress (approx. 12 m², ZEG).

Entertainment

Experience the tropics right in the heart of Germany! The unique tropical, wellness, and bathing landscape offers an unforgettable experience.
Spread across approximately 66,000 m², you'll find the world's largest indoor rainforest, Europe's largest tropical sauna landscape, the South Sea with a 200m sandy beach, and many more superlatives.
At a constant temperature of around 26°C, you can relax on a lounger 365 days a year, feel the fine sand beneath your feet, and enjoy the sunset on the beach. Or, explore the South Sea, as large as three Olympic swimming pools with a pleasant water temperature of 28°C.
The children's paradise, the Tropino Kids Club, with its go-kart track and numerous other play facilities, will make children's eyes light up. A mini-golf course (for a fee) and the world's longest Double Racer slide offer unique entertainment and sporting challenges.

AMAZONIA, Tropical Islands' outdoor area open year-round. The main attractions, besides the pool landscape, are the Whitewater River, Germany's longest wild water channel, and Pororoca, the surf simulator (summer operation only).
From the beginning of October, the AMAZONIA outdoor area transitions to winter operation (limited use; Monday-Sunday 11:00 AM - 5:45 PM, subject to change). The year-round pool and the Whitewater River will be available during the adjusted hours. All other attractions in the outdoor area will be closed until summer operation resumes.
Summer operation runs from April 5th to September 30th, 2025; Monday-Sunday 10:00 AM - 7:45 PM; subject to change.

Across over 35,000 square meters, there are water attractions with a total surface area of 1,350 square meters, extensive sunbathing areas for over 2,500 guests, numerous facilities for sports activities, and catering.
The portal of an Inca temple serves as the themed passage from the hall to the outdoor area Tropical Islands AMAZONIA.
Here, guests are greeted by a real adventure: Germany's longest current channel, the Whitewater River. The current channel winds over 250 meters with branches and varying gradients, a height difference of up to 3.5 meters, through the landscape.

A pool of 530 square meters with various bubble and massage loungers, neck showers, a cascade shower, and a massage station offers relaxation for wellness enthusiasts. Various water features, such as geysers, whirlpools, or a floor bubbling system, provide aquatic fun for all ages. While children train their balance on the obstacle course, adults can leisurely float down the Lazy River current channel.
In another pool, visitors can engage in sports activities. With a water surface of 390 square meters, there are three 25-meter lanes, swing grottos, a waterfall, a wide wave slide, and two rain gates, perfect for a lively water polo match.
All pools and the Whitewater River are heated. The temperature is around 31 degrees Celsius.
In the Spray Area, equipped with fun and splashing water features, younger guests especially have a great time, while parents can relax in the adjacent Relax Pool and keep an eye on their offspring.
The outdoor area is nestled within a dune landscape. In addition to sunbathing areas, there is also a surf simulator (for a fee) and sports areas. For example, there is a beach soccer field, whose dimensions comply with official competition guidelines. Another sports field can be divided as needed and used for beach volleyball, among other activities.

Island Ballooning:
The whole family can embark on a journey through the tropical airspace in a basket balloon at a height of approximately 15 meters.

Things get splashy: at the Jungle Splash water playground! Covering over 650 square meters and with a total height of over 15 meters, 8 slides, and many additional play opportunities, it is one of the largest in Germany.
And the best part: parents can also slide along. Over 300 meters of slides guarantee endless water fun!

Let your children go on an adventure near the South Sea! The pink giant octopus, a particularly large and friendly inhabitant, is particularly striking. On the edge, a submarine is anchored, with colorful fish swimming past its portholes. 3 slides, 2 shallow water pools, a waterfall, water cannons, and many other small water attractions.
