Location

The resort, newly opened in October 2019, belongs to the well-known Cinnamon Group and is located in the tranquil Vaavu Atoll, 67 km from Male. The house reef and the best diving areas in the region are easily accessible from the 5-hectare island. The transfer time by speedboat is approx. 90 minutes. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 25 minutes) can be booked on request for an additional charge.

The family-friendly complex has a total of 90 rooms and bungalows, which are spread across the island and on stilts over the water. The luxurious resort's facilities include an open reception area with a reception and comfortable seating. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant with international and national delicacies, as well as à la carte restaurants, the "The Beach Grill" restaurant (reservation required) with freshly caught fish, the "Iru Kitchen & Bar" restaurant (reservation required) with Southeast Asian specialties, and three different bars. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available free of charge by the swimming pool.

Superior Beach Loft

The Superior Beach Loft (approx. 79 m² incl. outdoor area), tastefully decorated in natural tones and with natural materials, offers a relaxing retreat directly on the beach. The loft is located on the 2nd floor and, in addition to a fantastic view of the turquoise blue water, has a toilet/shower (1st floor), hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, air conditioning, ceiling fan, flat-screen TV, minibar (for a fee), and tea/coffee making facilities. Beach Bungalow

With the same amenities as the Superior Beach Loft (approx. 65 m² incl. outdoor area), located on the ground floor of the two-story beach bungalows. These rooms offer direct access to the beach. (SBZ)

Water Bungalow

Same amenities as the Beach Bungalows, but larger (approx. 100 m²) and with an additional bathtub. The rooms are built on stilts over the water and have direct access to the sea. (2WB)

Selected local alcoholic beverages (beer, house wine, local spirits, a selection of cocktails and mocktails daily) and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, canned juices, coffee, tea) by the glass from approx. 7:30 AM to midnight in the respective open bars.

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrival/departure outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or long waiting times for immigration, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a double occupancy with 1 or 2 children, there may be a total of only 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it may happen that in a room for 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, one child has to sleep in the parents' bed. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently most domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
