Location

The JW Mariott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort is located in the South Male Atoll, an easily accessible atoll. The island, approximately 600m x 200m, impresses with its breathtaking location on a private island, surrounded by crystal-clear, turquoise-blue water and white sandy beaches. Guests of JW Mariott Maldives can discover the colorful coral reefs and rich marine life right on their doorstep. The island is reachable from the airport by speedboat in about 15 minutes.

The resort, newly opened in early 2025, offers 80 rooms and an unparalleled level of luxury. In addition to the reception area, the complex features a boutique shop. A highlight is the JW Garden, where its own fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. are grown. The resort has a total of four restaurants and two bars. For culinary delights, in addition to the main restaurant serving international cuisine, there is the gourmet restaurant "Riva" serving Indian dishes, "Athiri" offering South American cuisine, and "PURE" specializing in regional dishes that utilize products from the in-house JW Garden.
Three large swimming pools (one of which is adults-only) complete the extensive offerings. Umbrellas, sun loungers with cushions, and beach towels are available free of charge at the beach and by the pools.

Accommodation

Overwater Pool Villa

The villas, approximately 155 sqm, are modernly furnished and feature a king-size bed, a bathroom with a shower and an additional outdoor shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, TV, coffee/tea maker, minibar (for a fee), complimentary water, safe, iron, slippers, and a private pool with sun loungers.

Beach Pool Villa

With similar amenities, these villas are also approximately 155 sqm and offer direct access to the beach. Rooms can also be booked facing the sunset for an additional charge (V2S).

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board/Full Board

Buffet breakfast at "VEYO". For half board bookings, dinner is also a buffet at "VEYO". For full board bookings, lunch is at "VEYO" or "WAHOO" and dinner is at "VEYO".
With booked Half Board and Full Board, guests receive a daily credit of 155 USD per adult or 77.50 USD per child for all other restaurants.

Speedboat: Operates for expected arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer may occur.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 intermediate landings.
