Location

The resort is located directly on an outer reef in the southern part of the South Male Atoll. The main island is approx. 800 m long and 200 m wide, while Dream Island is approx. 400 m long and 200 m wide. The transfer time from Male Airport is approx. 45 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

The hotel has a total of 376 villas and suites spread across both islands. "Dream Island" is connected to the main island by a bridge. Amenities include a reception area with a front desk and a souvenir shop on each island, as well as a boutique and a jeweler on the main island. For culinary delights, there are a total of 15 restaurants and bars, including the "Siyam Orchid" restaurant with Thai specialties, the "Namaste" restaurant with Indian delicacies, and the "Italian" restaurant with Mediterranean dishes. The outdoor area features 6 large swimming pools with sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas included. Among these are an adults-only pool and the longest pool in the Maldives at 210 m.

Accommodation

Beach Pavillion

The approx. 50 sqm Deluxe rooms are located in two-story bungalows and were newly renovated in 2024. They are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, double bed, and a balcony or terrace facing the sea (2BP). Available as Sunset Beach Pavilion (BBS) for an additional charge.

Water Villa

With similar amenities to the Deluxe Double Rooms, these villas are built on stilts over the water and feature a bathtub and shower, are more spacious (approx. 64 sqm), and have a furnished sun deck, sea view, and direct lagoon access (W2V).

Deluxe Watervilla

The approx. 82 sqm villas are built on stilts directly over the water and offer even more luxury than the Deluxe Water Villas with a rain shower and unobstructed lagoon views (2DW).

All Inclusive

Extensive breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner buffet in the main restaurant or à la carte in selected restaurants. Afternoon tea and snacks. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass (e.g., water, soft drinks, juices, beer, house wine, spirits) at the open bars from 10 am to midnight. The minibar is replenished daily with soft drinks and canned beer and wine. Snorkeling equipment is included for the entire stay.
Additionally, the use of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards is included for one hour per day per person, and guests receive a 20% discount on motorized water sports. Guests also receive a $50 credit towards all diving activities and selected spa treatments. The minibar is additionally replenished daily with wine and snacks.

Sports included

Fitness center, badminton, tennis, and billiards.
Kayaks and SUPs, 1 hour per day each, free of charge.

5-star "Gold Palm" PADI and SSI Diamond Center. Various water sports (local provider).

The "Maakanaa Kids Club" offers a varied program for children aged 3-12, as well as a children's pool.

The "The Spa" on the main island and "Ocean Spa" over the water on Dream Island are the ideal places to bring body, mind, and soul into harmony. They offer hydrotherapy pools, sauna, steam bath, as well as extensive massages and treatments (for a fee).

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 am and 11 pm // Domestic (Domestic Flight): Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 am and 4 pm // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 am and 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location), and currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
