Location

The Angaga Island Resort & Spa is located on a lush island in the southern part of the Ari Atoll, surrounded by white sandy beaches and crystal-clear lagoon. The house reef, just approx. 7-8 m from the beach, offers excellent conditions for snorkeling and diving. The transfer from Male International Airport by seaplane takes approx. 25 minutes.

This small holiday paradise offers a total of 94 rooms on land and on stilts over the water. Amenities at the resort, popular not only with regular guests, include an open reception area, a library, and a souvenir shop. The buffet restaurant, main bar, a sunset bar, and a coffee shop cater to your culinary desires in a relaxed atmosphere. Sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge on the island.

Superior Beach Bungalow

The Superior Beach Bungalows are 45 m² in size, have been freshly renovated, and feature a bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic products, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, satellite TV, safe, telephone, and a furnished terrace with sea view (SBU/SBE/SB3).

Superior Water Bungalow

With the same amenities, but slightly larger (approx. 65 m²), these rooms are built over the water and additionally feature a glass-bottom table and direct sea access (WB2/WB3).

Premium Water Bungalow

The Premium Water Bungalows are newly built and, with the same amenities, offer more space (approx. 78 m², WR2/WR3).

HB/FB/HB+/AI

Half Board includes breakfast and dinner in buffet form. Full Board includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Half Board+ guests receive breakfast and dinner in buffet form, plus a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from 8 AM to midnight. Additionally, Half Board+ includes a half-day snorkeling excursion with a Dhoni (snorkeling equipment included).

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Snacks are available from 10 AM to 11:30 AM and from 3 PM to 5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee, tea, beer, house wine, selected cocktails, and various spirits) are served by the glass at the bar from 8 AM to midnight. In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive complimentary snorkeling equipment and one half-day snorkeling trip per person/stay.

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operates approximately between 5 AM and 11 PM for arrivals/departures.
Domestic flight: Operates approximately between 9:30 AM and 4 PM for arrivals/departures.
Seaplane: Operates approximately between 9 AM and 3 PM for arrivals/departures.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or during long immigration waiting times, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently often domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a double occupancy with 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it is possible that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child may have to sleep in the parents' bed.
