Location

The popular barefoot island is located in the South Ari Atoll and is quite long with a size of approximately 900m x 250m. The house reef, which is one of the most beautiful in the atoll, is ideal for diving and snorkeling. The transfer time from Malé International Airport by seaplane is approx. 25 minutes.

Facilities

The resort is set amidst lush tropical vegetation and comprises a total of 184 villas spread across the island. Facilities include a reception and a small shop. A total of four restaurants and four bars cater to culinary delights. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at the main pool with a separate children's pool or the adults-only infinity pool.

Garden Bungalow

The bungalows offer approx. 55 sqm of living space and feature a semi-open bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, telephone, safe, and a furnished terrace facing the garden (G2B/G1B).

Adjoining Beach Villa

With the same amenities and size as the Garden Bungalows, the Beach Villas feature a terrace facing the beach with sea views. The villas are not freestanding (ZX2/ZX1), but can be booked as freestanding Beach Villas for an additional charge (S2T).

Jacuzzi Beach Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villas, these are more spacious (approx. 65 sqm), additionally equipped with a Nespresso machine and a private Jacuzzi (2JV, bookable for adults only aged 18 and over).

Jacuzzi Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Jacuzzi Beach Villas, these are more spacious (approx. 85 sqm), additionally featuring a private sundeck with Jacuzzi and direct access to the lagoon (JW2, bookable for adults only aged 18 and over).

When booking a Garden Bungalow or Beach Villa, all meals are served in the "Funama" restaurant.

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:00 AM), lunch (12:30 PM - 2:00 PM), and dinner (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM) served buffet-style in the assigned restaurants. A snack menu is available from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the "Bonthi Bar" and Sunset Bar. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served around the clock at the open bar. Daily replenishment of selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in the minibar.
Additionally, guests receive per stay:
- a small bottle of champagne (per room)
- a sunset cruise
- a visit to a local island (subject to change)
- 30 minutes of group snorkeling lessons per person (without equipment)
- 30 minutes of group windsurfing lessons per person (equipment included)

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the times mentioned above, in case of bad weather, or long immigration waiting times, an overnight stay in Malé may be required.
All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on island location) are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé (near the airport) may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, a child may have to sleep in the parents' bed when there are 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room.
