Location

Kudafushi Resort & Spa is located in the heart of the Raa Atoll. The island got its name from its narrow width of only approx. 225 m and a length of just under 634 m - Kudafushi means "small island" in translation. The house reef is approx. 20 m from the beach and offers several entry points.
Transfer is by domestic flight (approx. 30 minutes) followed by a 25-minute speedboat ride. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 45 minutes) can be booked at an additional charge.

Facilities

The luxurious resort with a total of 107 villas promises a relaxing holiday in a laid-back "barefoot" atmosphere. In addition to the reception area, the complex features three restaurants (main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants with Asian and Mediterranean cuisine), a bar, and a small boutique. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are available free of charge by the swimming pool.

Beach Villa

The spacious and modernly equipped Beach Villas (92 m² including outdoor area) feature an open-plan bathroom/WC (partially covered) with a bathtub and an additional outdoor shower and hairdryer. They also include air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe, a minibar (partially for a fee), a kettle, a Nespresso machine (on request/limited availability) with capsules (included), and a private terrace with seating area (2BV/1BV).
Available at an extra charge with a private pool (102 m² including outdoor area, (VPZ)).

Water Villa

The Water Villas (75 m² including outdoor area), built on stilts over the sea, offer the same amenities as the Beach Villas, plus a sun deck with direct sea access (2WV). The bathroom is entirely indoors, without an outdoor shower. This room type is only bookable for guests aged 13 and over.

Water Villa Pool

The Water Villas with pool offer the same amenities as the Water Villas, plus a pool, and are slightly more spacious (85 m² including outdoor area, (WVP)). This room type is only bookable for guests aged 13 and over.

All meals are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. Live cooking and various international theme nights for dinner. Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation estimated for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather or longer waiting times upon entry, a bridging overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total.
