Location

Kurumba Maldives (approx. 500 x 300 m) is located on the southern edge of the North Male Atoll, featuring a large lagoon with crystal-clear water and white, gently sloping beaches. The house reef is directly accessible from the island. The main island of Male is nearby, with a transfer time of only 10 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

The hotel was one of the first resorts in the Maldives, offering extensive experience and a high standard of service. The warm hospitality is highly appreciated by regular guests. The resort has 180 rooms spread across the island. Amenities include a reception area with seating, a small boutique, a souvenir shop, a jeweler, and an internet corner. For dining, there are 6 à la carte restaurants (Middle Eastern, Thai, Indian, Japanese, and international cuisine, plus seafood) and a buffet/main restaurant serving international delicacies. Cool refreshments and delicious cocktails are served at a total of 3 bars and a shisha lounge. The lush garden area features 2 pools with sunbathing areas and a children's pool for relaxation. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are provided free of charge.

Superior Double

The Superior rooms, approximately 74 sqm, feature a queen-size bed, air conditioning and ceiling fan, safe (included), satellite TV, a bathroom with bathtub and shower, bathrobes, hairdryer, an outdoor shower, and a minibar (for a fee). Coffee and tea making facilities are also available. The rooms have a balcony or terrace.

With the same size as the Superior rooms, featuring a king-size bed and a veranda with a seating area.

Beachfront Deluxe Bungalow

With the same amenities and size as the Deluxe Bungalows, plus direct beach access.

Garden Pool Villa

Approximately 124 sqm, these villas are nestled in the tropical gardens and feature a living area with a seating area and a second TV (with sliding door), as well as a private pool with sun loungers.

Beach Villa

The approximately 103 sqm Beach Villas offer similar amenities to the Garden Pool Villas, plus a whirlpool in the outdoor area.

Deluxe Pool Villa

With similar amenities to the Beach Villas, these are more spacious (approx. 160 sqm) and feature a large veranda with a seating area and a private pool with sun loungers and a Balinese bed (these rooms do not have a whirlpool).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. Snacks are available during the day, and coffee/cake in the afternoon. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served by the glass from 10 AM to 1 AM at the open bars. Guests also receive a 50% discount on meals in the à la carte restaurants (reservations required).

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer immigration waiting times, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location), and currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
