Location

The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is located in the North Male Atoll on the 800m long and 300m wide island of Furanafushi, boasting beautiful white sandy beaches and tropical vegetation. The short transfer times and the diverse leisure activities on the island make it perfect for Maldives first-timers, honeymooners, and families. Male Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by speedboat.

Facilities

The beautifully landscaped resort features a reception area with seating and various island boutiques. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant "Feast" offering international buffet specialties, the Thai restaurant "Baan Thai", the à la carte restaurant "Sea Salt" with steak and seafood specialties, "Masalat Hut" with Indian specialties, "ChopstiX" with Asian specialties, and the "Kakuni Hut" beach restaurant. Several bars offer refreshing drinks. Nestled within the tropical greenery, there is a freshwater pool with sun terraces.

Deluxe Room (approx. 45m²)

The 28 thatched-roof rooms are generously appointed, located in the garden within 1-storey bungalows, and feature a new, modern design. The furnishings include a bathroom with bath/shower/toilet, individually adjustable air conditioning or ceiling fan, 40-inch LCD TV with international channels and CD player, safe, coffee/tea making facilities, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace with wooden furniture and a hanging swing. Island Cottage (approx. 76 m²)

The spacious, freestanding Island Cottages, built in a traditional style, offer ample space with 76m². The luxurious rooms have the same amenities as the Deluxe Rooms, but with the addition of a semi-open bathroom with an outdoor shower and a charming view of the lush garden. (JCZ)

With HB booked, a dinner buffet is also available at "Feast" or alternatively a 3-course menu at specialty restaurants "Anchorage", "ChopstiX2 or "Masala Hut", with non-alcoholic beverages included with meals. All flight transfers, as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male (near the airport) may be necessary.
