Location

The island, approximately 1000 m x 200 m, with lush vegetation and a beautiful white sandy beach, is located on the eastern edge of the Meemu Atoll. The outer reef, a first-class diving area, is about 500-600 m from the beach; in front of it, you will find a beautiful lagoon. The transfer from Hulhule airport island takes about 2.5 hours by speedboat. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 45 minutes) is available at an additional charge.

Facilities

The island offers ideal conditions for divers, those seeking tranquility, and sunbathers. It features a total of 112 villas, a reception area with a lounge and internet corner, a souvenir shop, the main restaurant "Malaafayi" (international and local cuisine), the à la carte restaurant "Alfresco" built on stilts over the sea, and a bar with a magnificent view of the lagoon where you can enjoy cocktails and snacks. The swimming pool with a sun terrace is located on the beach; loungers, umbrellas, and towels are free of charge.

Beach Villa Semi Detached

The accommodations are equipped and sized similarly to the Beach Villas and are located in semi-detached bungalows, each consisting of two adjacent living units. Therefore, they are not freestanding bungalows. The living space is approximately 65 m² including the outdoor area. (BVZ)

Beach Suite

The Beach Suite (including outdoor area 178 m²) consists of two Beach Villas connected by a covered outdoor seating area. (BS2)

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation estimated for departures/arrivals from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for departures/arrivals from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more until the onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrival/departure outside the above times, in case of bad weather or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
