Location

The resort is located on the northern outer reef of the Lhaviyani Atoll, nestled within a tropical garden. The island measures approximately 325 meters in width and just under 1,800 meters in length, making it ideal for relaxing beach strolls. Transfer is via domestic flight and speedboat to the island (approx. 50 minutes total; longer waiting times at the airport may occur). Seaplane transfer (approx. 40 minutes) is available at an additional charge.

The island, popular with divers, offers a total of 388 rooms spread across the island. Facilities include two reception areas with the main reception "O Reception" and "Sangu Reception," and a small shopping arcade. Seven different restaurants cater to your culinary needs (such as "Sangu Restaurant" for ages 15+ and "O-Restaurant" for ages 12+, depending on room category), à la carte restaurants, a wine cellar, and bars. At the end of the jetty is the popular "Sai Kotari" tea house. There are three swimming pools spread across the island (in the "O" area for children 12+, for rooms in the O-area; in the "Sangu" area for ages 15+ and only for guests of Water Villas and Private Pool Villas) with sun terraces. Umbrellas, sun loungers with cushions, and beach towels are available free of charge at the swimming pools and on the beach.

Garden Bungalow

The Garden Bungalows, approx. 54 sqm, are located in the second row from the beach and feature a bathroom with an outdoor shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, telephone, Bluetooth clock, minibar (partly for a fee), safe, espresso machine, and a terrace. (G2B/G1B/K2G)

Beach Bungalow

With the same amenities as the Garden Bungalows, the Beach Bungalows offer a terrace with direct beach access. (SBZ/SEB/KB2)

Beach Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Bungalows, slightly more spacious (approx. 57 sqm including outdoor area) and even closer to the beach. Additional amenities include a semi-open bathroom and a TV. (2BV/1BV/KBZ/VK4)
Spacious villas (approx. 57 sqm including the outdoor area) in the O-section are available at an additional charge. The minimum age for rooms in the O-section is 12 years. (O2X)

Premium Beach Villa

With similar amenities and size to the Beach Villa, these villas are located on the south side of the island in the "Koamas area." (VE2). From 1.11.25, Sangu Premium Beach Villas will also be bookable at an additional charge.

Jacuzzi Beach Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, slightly more spacious (approx. 78 sqm including outdoor area) and an additional jacuzzi. (2JV/K2V/K4V)
Jacuzzi Beach Villas in the Sangu (N2J) or O-section (2OZ) are available at an additional charge.
The minimum age for rooms in the O-section is 12 years, and in the Sangu section, it is 15 years.

Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villas (approx. 70 sqm including the outdoor area), these rooms are built on stilts over the water in the lagoon and feature a private sun deck with direct access to the sea, but no outdoor bathroom. The minimum age for this category is 15 years. (2WV)

Villa Private Pool

With the same amenities as the Jacuzzi Beach Villa (approx. 287 sqm including outdoor area), these villas are located in the garden area and feature a large private outdoor area with a private pool (approx. 40 sqm). (2IO)

Premium Beach Bungalow

With the same amenities and size as the Beach Bungalows, these are located even closer to the beach and offer sea views. Additional amenities include a semi-open bathroom and a TV. (P2B/P1B)

Depending on your room category and location, meals will be taken in different main restaurants/bars.
Restaurants:
"Bonthi Restaurant" (for Garden Bungalow, Beach Bungalow, or Premium Beach Bungalow accommodation), "Koamas Restaurant" (for Beach Villa, Premium Beach Villa, or Jacuzzi Beach Villa accommodation), "Sangu Restaurant" (for Water Villa, Private Pool Villa, and Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villa accommodation), and "'O' Restaurant" (for O Beach Villa and O Jacuzzi Beach Villa accommodation). Guests of Private Pool Villas may choose where they wish to dine.
Bars (Afternoon tea when booking AI):
"Babuna Bar" (for all room categories), "'O' Bar," and "Sangu Bar" (for accommodation in all categories except Garden Bungalow, Beach Bungalow, and Premium Beach Bungalow). Respective age restrictions apply.
Use of other main restaurants is free of charge twice a week for breakfast and lunch or dinner for guests staying in all categories except bungalows (reservation required). For guests staying in Garden Bungalows, Beach Bungalows, and Premium Beach Bungalows, use of other main restaurants is subject to a fee (Sangu area excluded, guests have no access there).
Use of à la carte restaurants is possible for all room types for an additional charge and with prior reservation on site.
Please note that families/groups must book the same meal plan, even if accommodated in different room categories.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive+ (Q)

Breakfast from approx. 8-10:30 AM, lunch from approx. 1-2:30 PM, and dinner from approx. 7-9:30 PM in your assigned restaurants. Afternoon tea and snacks from approx. 3-6 PM at the respective bars. Selected alcoholic beverages (beer, house wine, gin, vodka, rum, whiskey, tequila, daily selection of cocktails and mocktails) and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, canned juices, coffee, tea) by the glass from approx. 9 AM to 1:30 AM at the bars currently open. Use of the minibar – water, soft drinks, juices, wine, beer, coffee, tea, and snacks (refilled daily). Additionally, a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival and a 20% discount on selected spa treatments.
Sports included: 1x per person/stay 30 minutes snorkeling introduction, golf and windsurfing introduction, windsurfing equipment (only for experienced windsurfers), canoe (daily for one hour), 1x per person/stay a sunset cruise during your stay.

Transfer information independent of the hotel:
Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates approximately for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates approximately for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer may occur.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
In some areas, the sand on the north side contains coral fragments; beach shoes are recommended.
