Location

Located on the inhabited island of Hanimadhoo, in the Haa Dhaalu Atoll, in the still largely untouched northern part of the Maldives. The transfer time by domestic flight is approx. 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute transfer from the airport to the hotel. In some cases, the domestic flight lands in Kulhudhufushi and is followed by a speedboat transfer. (Approx. 30 minutes)

The ECO Barefoot Hotel has 64 rooms and 5 Heritage Villas, spread across single-story bungalows, each with 4-10 living units. The special hotel concept "Barefoot on the Go" is based on ecotourism. The hotel's other facilities include a reception area with a reception desk and a boutique with a tailor shop. The main restaurant spoils its guests with Mediterranean, Oriental, and international cuisine with breathtaking sea views. Next to the restaurant is the bar, which invites you to linger with a cool drink and a magnificent view. There is also a floating bar where alcoholic beverages are available. Surrounded by coconut palms is the 25-meter swimming pool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the private beach.

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic (Inland flight): Operation for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above-mentioned times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times for entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
